It makes me sad seeing year after year people submit this in the Sunday check-ins and I felt like I needed to say something about it with everyone going into a new season.

The quote and reels floating around social media “ if you wanna have a village, you have to be a villager” is such an overdone phrase but it’s actually so true. Participate in the community that you want to have for yourself and watch your season flourish into a really great memory for you and your family.

Not everyone needs to be best friends, we have established this…but lean into this season of your life, make the effort and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there 🤍

These are also things I have learned overtime and I have not been perfect at this and am still not. But putting this out in the universe to hopefully bring more awareness that this is a lot more common then we think and things people really don’t talk about enough
