I did a 30 day challenge to learn Swedish as best as I could recently and documented the results in a conversation with a Swedish native!
It was definitely a fun process and I'm continuing to learn, onwards from here. Learning languages is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding learning experiences one can have.

Ever since the swimming challenge I did last year, I've been wanting to do another physical 30 Day Challenge.

Now, after the Christmas holidays and just generally building up a bit of a winter food (fat) layer, I thought it was the ideal time to plan one in. 😅

I decided on using an old home trainer bike I had standing around and just cycling a lot over a month.

The goal was cycling 2000K, and with that I invite you to check out the video to see if I actually achieved the goal I set out for myself. 😄

A couple of weeks ago I saw articles appear (again) about how loneliness is at an all time high, heightened even more as a result of the current pandemic.
More than one third of people between 16-29 often or always feel lonely, which is an alarming statistic.
This led me to the concept of my new short film - The Loneliness Pandemic - in order to shine an extra light on the current trend.
Loneliness has been steadily rising year after year, but it's never been quite as clear and apparent as in these times.

So, I invite you to give it a watch. It's only a short 4 minutes long and it would mean a lot to me. 🙏

I wanted to challenge myself by learning a new language, so I recently decided to own up to the roots of my name and learn Swedish (svenska) for that. 😅
This is the first part of that challenge, where I try to learn as much as I can in the span of 7 days, to then have a conversation with a Swedish native to test my conversational level (shoutout Josefine for the help!).
It broke my brain a bit to find a method, but I somehow figured out a system that I also cover in the video.
Anyways, if you're interested in languages and challenges, then definitely check the video out, I'm excited about the result!
