Kandiszucker proudly presents our new release, a mindbending EP by our dear friend Markus, better known to you as Theiamani.
Not only has he been part of our personal and musical lives since more than ten years already - but you can also hear his productions on all our compilations so far! So, its more than about time for a dedicated release.
After being part of the psy-scene for many years and exploring all of its sub-genres, Markus had been eager to present his own take on trance music. „I’d like to see this project as an open canvas where anything can happen. Many different stories can play out, and my general love for all expressions of music and sound design can be projected into this. One of my goals as an artist is to create with no limits and an open-mind to explore the unification of opposites: structure and disorder, harmony and dissonance, polished and dirty.„
Markus has been creating atmospheric and therapeutic ambient music and more experimental sound art content under the name Respira since 2016 already and continues this project until this very day, which is worth checking out too!
His first EP under the name of Theiamani consists of tracks created over the past 3 years, which reflects his big love for the old school goa trance sound, as well as the cheekiness and swampiness of the Scandinavian forest scene. And this exact mixture is very prominent in this stunning debut!
