✨ Introducing Emma Wernig - Violist ✨
Steffen Lachenmann and the Felix Artists Management Team are thrilled to introduce the brilliant violist Emma Wernig!

She is an emerging young artist known for her authentic musical voice. Born in Los Angeles, California, her musical path has since taken her across the globe.

A distinguished competition laureate, Emma was awarded the Barbirolli Prize at the 2019 Tertis International Viola Competition and won the Cecil Aronowitz International Viola Competition in 2017. These early successes were pivotal in launching her international career. 👏

Passionate about expanding the viola repertoire, Emma made her highly praised recording debut in 2021 with an album of rare Austrian viola works, recorded with pianist Albert Cano-Smit for the Champs Hill Records label. In 2024, she further expanded her discography with a recording (release TBA) of Alfred Schnittke's "Concerto for Three" alongside Gidon Kremer, Magdalena Ceple, and the Kremerata Baltica. 🎶

As a soloist, Emma has performed with orchestras including the Kremerata Baltica, Meininger Hofkapelle, Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, Folkwang Kammerorchester, and Französisches Kammerorchester, among others. 🤩

In addition to her solo performances, Emma is the newly appointed violist of the award-winning, Doric String Quartet. Based in London, the quartet boasts a rich history and an acclaimed discography on the Chandos label, with a reputation for dynamic performances and cutting-edge programming.👏

Emma has collaborated with many distinguished musicians, including Janine Jansen, Gidon Kremer, Lynn Harrell, Steven Isserlis, and Christian Tetzlaff and performed at prestigious festivals including the Verbier Festival, Aldeburgh Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Grachtenfestival, Grafenegg Festival, and the Vevey Spring Classic Festival. ✨

Adrian Prabava and soprano Claudia Sasso present selected songs from Gustav Mahler's cycle ‘Des Knaben Wunderhorn’ for the third time tonight in Rome.
Performances include ‘Das irdische Leben’ and ‘Das himmlische Leben’, which inspired the structure of his 4th Symphony.🎼

Adrian Prabava has devised his own, innovative performance concept for these concerts, leading his audience into the deep truths of Gustav Mahler's extraordinary works.👏

This is the first collaboration between the first-class conductor and the renowned orchestra! ✨

✨ Introducing Cristina Galietto - Gitarist ✨
Steffen Lachenmann and the Felix Artists Management Team are thrilled to introduce the brilliant gitarist Cristina Galietto ! 🎼

Cristina Galietto is a classical guitarist from Naples, Italy. She is appreciated for her strong stage presence, stylistic flexibility and mellow tone, for combining technical virtuosity with natural musicality that connects across different cultures.👏
Her debut album Avant l’Aube (Timespan Recordings, 2020) features works by Joaquín Rodrigo, Domenico Scarlatti, and Alexis Rago, highlighting her sensitivity to both historical and modern repertoire.

Cristina has performed solo, with chamber groups, and as a soloist with orchestra across Europe, the UK, the USA, and China. ✨
She has appeared at festivals and venues such as Kings Place London , Théâtre Traversière, the Lockenhausfest, the Tenri Cultural Institute, and toured extensively in China.
In Italy, she has played, among others, at Paganini Guitar Festival, Segovia Guitar Week, and Festival del ‘700 Napoletano at Maschio Angioino’s Sala dei Baroni.
Highlights of her career include EuroStrings 2021 (Petrer), Uppsala Guitar Competition, and the Andrés Segovia Competition (Monheim am Rhein).
In 2021 she received the Golden Guitar award at the International Guitar Meeting in Milan.
Cristina holds three master’s degrees in classical guitar, the most recent from the Kunst Universität Graz, where she studied Concert Performance under Paolo Pegoraro and Łukasz Kuropaczewski.

Cristina combines early career awards with wide touring experience, a refined sense for curating stylistically diverse programmes, and a capacity to engage meaningfully with both audiences and fellow performers.

✨Introducing Matthieu Idmtal - Pianist ✨
Steffen Lachenmann and the Felix Artists Management Team are thrilled to introduce the exceptional pianist Matthieu Idmtal.

As a prize winner of more than 15 international competitions, Matthieu Idmtal has been a guest at the main Belgian stages such as Bozar, Flagey, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke Gent, … and made part of international festivals such as the Klara Festival, Festival Musiq’3, Les Sommets du Classique, Palermo Classica and many more! 👏

The young pianist has now three CD’s to his credit. His last two CD’s were awarded ‘Choice of Klara’ by national radiostation Radio Klara, and received a five-star review by the prestigious music magazine ‘Classica’.🎶

His recording of music entirely devoted to Alexander Scriabin was very highly praised, and in recent years Matthieu Idmtal has established himself as a leading interpreter and representer of his music.✨🎼

Last seasons, Matthieu Idmtal gave solo recitals and concerts with orchestra all over Europe.
In addition to his solo concerts, he very much enjoys playing chamber music, and thus won several prizes in piano duo together with Anastasia Kozhushko, as well as with violinist Maya Levy.
Such awards include top prizes at competitions such as “Youth ’n Classic” (Belgium) or “Concorso Internazionale San Cristoforo” (Italy),... . 🏆

The repertoire of Matthieu Idmtal ranges from the baroque period till music of nowadays, but he has always had a particular attention to (Post-) Romantic music, with Robert Schumann, Edvard Grieg, Alexander Scriabin and Frédéric Chopin as composers close to his heart. 🎹
His affinity with the latter made him create the ‘Brussels Chopin Days’: an international concert series dedicated to F. Chopin of which Matthieu Idmtal is the artistic director since 2013. He also makes a point of bringing lesser known works into the spotlights, and has interest in jazz music. 🎷

His experience makes him a regular guest to give masterclasses, as well as being jurymember in national and international music competitions.

The pianist Nuron Mukumi together with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine | Національна філармонія України and conductor Volodymyr Sirenko set an example against war and in favour of solidarity and cohesion! 🇺🇦

He travelled to Ukraine and thrilled the audience in Kyiv on 9 April with his brilliant performance of Beethoven's Fifth Piano Concerto. 🎶

Nuron's main aim in travelling to Ukraine was to make an active and lasting contribution through his musical work! 🎹

🌟 Marie Rosenmir is an award-winning conductor known for her charismatic leadership and versatile musical talent. As the current Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship Associate Fellow, she is celebrated for her dynamic presence on both operatic and symphonic stages.

🎶 From her beginnings as a professional organist, pianist, and singer, Marie’s journey to conducting has shaped her unique approach to orchestral and operatic leadership. She has captivated audiences at prestigious venues like the Royal Swedish Opera, The Gothenburg Opera, the Malmö SymfoniOrkester, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, and many more!

🌍 Internationally, Marie has worked with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, London, the Paris Mozart Orchestra, and the Odense Symphony Orchestra, showcasing her passion for blending tradition with modernity.

Ferdinando Sulla is a distinguished conductor and musicologist, whose career spans both the concert hall and the operatic stage. Currently Maestro Sulla is teaching orchestral conducting at the Conversatory of Consenza 🎭🎓
Sulla holds a degree in musicology from the University of Milan 🎓 and a PhD from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome 🎓 He is recognized as an expert in Rossinian performance practice, editing critical editions of Rossini’s “Messa di Milano - Miserere” and “Messa di Ravenna,” which he conducted at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro Rossini Opera Festival al🎶
Sulla has conducted at major festivals like Jeunesses Musicales, the Festival Verdi in Parma, as well as prestigious Italian venues such as Teatro Regio Parma 🎭 and Teatro Rossini in Pesaro 🎶.
His international engagements include the Auditorium of Milan “Fondazione Cariplo” and the TauberPhilharmonie Weikersheim. ✨

Steffen Lachenmann and the Felix Artists Management Team are thrilled to introduce the exceptionally talented conductor Adrian Prabava!

Adrian is one of the younger generation of conductors to have made a name for himself internationally in recent years. With a growing global profile, he has already worked with renowned orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre National de France, the Oslo Philharmonic, the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra (Osaka), the HR Symphony Orchestra, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (RSB) the Orchestre Symphonique de Québec, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouworkest Amsterdam. 🌍🎻

Having studied violin at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and conducting under Eiji Oue at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, Adrian’s exceptional artistry has been honed through experiences with some of the most prestigious musical institutions. He also attended masterclasses with Jorma Panula, who became an important mentor alongside Kurt Masur and Bernard Haitink. His expertise has earned him accolades, including his production of Die Walküre at the Opéra de Marseille which received particular praise from critics. 🎼🔥
