Christophe Salin "Talk" & "Perkons Groove" are out today.
Christophe Salin approaches Deep House as a form of dialogue — where sounds, space, and machines continuously shape one another.
Talk, the lead cut, is a peak-time House workout built for the dancefloor. Straight 909 drums, warm synth and horn stabs, and richly saturated analogue textures define the track’s character. A vocodered vocal line — “I’m Talking To You” — reinforces the track’s subtle sense of interaction between rhythm, tone, and gesture.
On the B-side, Perkons Groove moves into deeper, more minimal territory. Gritty drums, a heavy sub bass, layered sampling, and hypnotic vocal fragments create a raw, late-night atmosphere. Its stripped, groove-led structure makes it a natural fit for afterhours and warm-up settings alike.
Together, the two tracks highlight contrasting shades of Salin’s Deep House language — from direct dancefloor energy to deeper, reduced intensity — unified by a shared emphasis on warmth, texture, and flow.
The artwork by Daria Salin complements the release’s conceptual core, combining cyanotype techniques with hand-painted elements.
