Anagama firing project - The end.

Anagama firing project - Chapter eight “Glowing in the dark”

For three days in a raw we kept the fire burning to reach the required temperature and get melted ashes and fleshing effects on top of the holy vases. Nina taught us everything she knows about wood firing and we helped her monitor the firing throughout those days. One of the most challenging and physically exhausting project I have taken part to so far. Grateful for the knowledge and human experience, for the chance to learn from others and go beyond my own limitations.
