THE KEY
9-year-old Fathieh Moftah grew up in a refugee camp and likes to collect keys for her life. When she sees a very special key at her grandmother's and a little later discovers a secret door in her father's locksmith's shop, she plunges into a fantastic labyrinth in which she experiences the turmoil of her own family. Through this she gets to know her own diaspora and begins to understand that home is not the place where she lives. No matter how hopeless her situation is, the key remains the symbol of her right to return home.

Great news, MDR - Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk is showing our hybrid short film “The Key” as part of the MDR DOK Week. The film is playing friday night 30.10.-31.10. at 01:05.

You can also stream it online in the MDR Mediathek, from the 25.10. on. We’ll definitely remind you again, but make sure to save the date already! 🗝

Liebe Menschen,

Wir feiern am 30. September bei uns im Garten der Plautstraße 27 in Leipzig-Neulindenau ein Reynard Films-Spätsommerfest.

Los geht es für alle Menschen, die Kinder mitbringen möchten bereits um 17:00 Uhr. Denn es gibt eine Kinderbetreuung von 17:00 - 20:00 Uhr, wo Kinderschminken, Kino und Trampolin auf dem Programm stehen.

Für alle Menschen, die ohne Kinder kommen, geht es ab 18:00 Uhr los. Dann wird auch der Grill angeschmissen. Wer erst später eintrudeln kann, ist natürlich auch noch Willkommen!
