Masterfully constructed elements made of steel and glass are mounted on the unique goblet supports, bringing light into the platform hall. This film shows how the domes are created - from the planning and individual production, to their installation on site.

Ein letztes „Glück auf“ im Projekt :

Die Deutsche Bahn Konzern hat sämtliche Tunnel des Projekts erfolgreich vorgetrieben. Insgesamt haben die Mineure rund 56 Kilometer Tunnel gegraben. Mit dem letzten Tunneldurchschlag im neuen Flughafentunnel ist ein historischer Meilenstein des Projekts Stuttgart 21 erreicht.

A final "Luck upwards" as German miners like to say: Deutsche Bahn has successfully completed all the tunnels in the Stuttgart 21 project, digging around 56 km of tunneling. The final tunnel breakthrough in the new airport marks a historic milestone in the Stuttgart 21 project.

In the heart of the Stuttgart metropolitan region, Germany's first digitally controlled rail hub is taking shape. This pioneering project relies on state-of-the-art control and safety technology to make rail traffic more reliable and efficient.

By upgrading the rail node, bottlenecks will be overcome and more trains will be able to reach their destinations on time.
Based on the experience gained here, all German rail nodes will be digitized in the future.
