In March 2020 the Arc made an announcement to participate in a collaboration. To that point it was uncertain what the collaboration would look like.
After Sergio Falchi has brought the first fruit of this call into several festivals and shared the story of Mario engaging the wonderful and best fitting man for this role Giampaolo Loddo now Edifice 129 is finally breathing Mediterranean air.
On Friday, November 8th, Ken Scicluna together with Paul Portelli and Erica Muscat - Actor will attend the screening and following Q&A in Valetta. It will be the first time when all directors are together in one cinema, at least visual: Karen Anstee, Jürgen Heimüller and Linda Gasser connect via video software - just like it all began.
Step into the surreal world of Edifice 129, where residents of a distant apartment block grapple with silence, isolation, and eerie memories. 🎬 Created across borders during COVID-19, this experimental film weaves together standalone short films by directors from Germany, the UK, and Malta—collaborating solely via Zoom! 🌍✨
