ZDF Studios startet am 8. Dezember 2025 den neuen Streaming-Channel „ZDF Schatzkiste“, der über Amazon Prime Video verfügbar ist und nostalgische TV-Momente zurück auf den Bildschirm holt.
Der Channel vereint beliebte Kinder- und Jugendserien aus den 1970er-, 1980er-, 1990er- und frühen 2000er-Jahren und richtet sich an Familien sowie alle, die sich ein Stück ihrer Kindheit zurückholen möchten.
Mit dabei sind Serienklassiker wie „Anna“ (1987), „Timm Thaler“ (1979), „Rivalen der Rennbahn“ (1989), „Unser Charly“ (1995) , „Die Biene Maja“ (1975) – und viele weitere Formate, die Generationen begleitet und geprägt haben.
Die „ZDF Schatzkiste“ ist ein Projekt von ZDF Studios und wird durch beliebte Live-Action- und Animationsklassiker aus dem Programmportfolio von Studio 100 ergänzt. So entsteht ein Programmangebot, das nicht nur nostalgische Unterhaltung bietet, sondern auch die Möglichkeit, diese besonderen Inhalte neu zu entdecken und mit der nächsten Generation zu teilen.

🍞 From cult icon to Breadfluencer: Bernd das Brot goes West.
He’s grumpy, short-armed, and accidentally famous. Meet Bernd das Brot — the grumpy loaf of bread who became a German cultural icon and is now conquering US audiences on YouTube.
Following viral appearances in US media (including Last Week Tonight with John Oliver), ZDF Studios and HitchOn have launched Bernd’s official channel. Weekly uploads now bring his uniquely German brand of pessimistic humor to America, featuring Bernd’s iconic grumpiness.
Bernd is endlessly pestered by his over‑excited friends Chili the Sheep and Briegel the Bush, or dragged into absurd situations by a mysterious Voice. His gloomy catchphrase “Mist” (“Crap”) and fatalistic outlook turned this kids’ show bread into a cult icon for all ages.
Created in 2000 by Tommy Krappweis and Norman Cöster, Bernd debuted on KiKA as an unlikely mascot. Produced by Bumm-Film, the shows feature Muppet-style puppetry with the original voices still intact: Jörg Teichgräber (Bernd), Tanja Schumann (Chili), and Jan Mixsa (Briegel).
The project is a collaboration between ZDF Studios and HitchOn GmbH, led by Kwink Kurze and Sebastian Killinger (HitchOn) alongside Niko Chainopoulos and Kerstin Jungmann (ZDF Studios).

🏆 Among the Best in the CEE region: Detective von Fock!
We’re proud to announce that Detective von Fock has been selected as a finalist for the upcoming NEM Awards in the category Best Finished TV Series in the CEE!
🎬 The awards ceremony will take place at NEM Zagreb, December 9 in Croatia.
Set in the early 19th century, this historical crime drama follows shy young nobleman Paul von Fock, who unexpectedly discovers his talent as a detective - solving crimes while navigating matters of inheritance and love. Inspired by Ain Kütt’s novels and created by Leana Jalukse together with Lillian von Keudell, the series was directed by Arun Tamm and filmed in Estonia, Latvia, and Italy.
