Great stories can’t be rushed.

"Lord Howe Island – Reset for Paradise" exists because filmmaker Florian Guthknecht stayed with a story for more than 20 years. What began as a portrait of a pristine ecosystem became a rare, real-time record of collapse — and recovery.

After invasive species pushed the island to the brink, residents and scientists took responsibility and launched one of the most ambitious conservation missions ever attempted. And nature responded.

The result is a powerful before-and-after wildlife film that proves recovery is possible when we act.
