Aus die Maus. Eine Ära geht nun zu Ende in Frankfurt, eine Wichtigste Messe verlässt die Europäische Bühne. 😭
Wie ich schon auf meinem letzten Besuch vermutet habe, war das 30 Jährige Jubiläum Jahr, auch das Ende von der Prolight + Sound.

*** Prolight + Sound will not continue in Frankfurt – brand will remain active internationally ***
After many conversations and careful reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision that Prolight + Sound will no longer take place in Frankfurt.
The demand for a separate Prolight + Sound themed area within the upcoming Light+Building 2026 was unfortunately not high enough to successfully realise it in a valuable manner for exhibitors and visitors alike.
While this chapter comes to a close, the brand continues internationally – with the premiere of Prolight + Sound Bangkok in 2026 and the growing Prolight + Sound Guangzhou, which welcomed over 2,200 exhibitors and 110,000 visitors this year.
Some of our exhibitors will now present their solutions directly within Light + Building 2026, reaching target groups such as lighting designers, architects, and building technology professionals.
