First Encounter; Pete Edochie recalled how Alexx originally visited his home accompanied by a live cow, traditional Ogene drummers, and various gifts. This grand gesture was Alexx's unique way of inviting the veteran icon to a movie premiere. When Pete Edochie arrived at the event, he was welcomed by cultural masquerades, creating an experience he noted he would cherish forever.
The Hotel Room Visits: On two subsequent occasions, Alexx visited Pete Edochie in his hotel room. During these intimate visits, Alexx brought fruit, shared kolanut, presented financial gifts, and humbly asked the veteran actor to pray over him. A Broken Promise for the Future. The most painful aspect of the tribute was unfulfilled plans. Pete Edochie revealed he had learned that Alexx Ekubo was quietly coordinating a massive celebration for the elder actor's upcoming 80th birthday. Mourning the sudden cut of a promising life, Pete Edochie expressed immense sorrow that Alexx would no longer be there to witness the milestone. Everything our legend Pete Edochie, said is nothing but pure facts. Alex was a genuinely good, humble human being. He radiated love every single second of his life and there is no doubt he is doing the absolute most up there in heaven right now.
Ike bobo was just so special to all of us, he possessed this rare kind of peace that instantly brightened any room he walked into. Whether he was on screen or just being himself, his kindness and infectious energy always shines through. Even though he is no more in this world with us, his funny adorable videos and memories always brings tender peace that reminds us he is in a better paradise, though too early but he is definitely in heaven and his pure soul left a lasting mark on every one of us fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
In endless years to come, let it be known that a beautiful soul like Alex Ikenna Ekubo can never be forgotten, his light will never fade and his legacy of love, laughter and humility will live on in our hearts forever.
