Best of 2022: The time between the years is traditionally the time to look back on the (almost) completed year.

After I already presented you my personal highlights of the respective months in the last two posts, your highlights follow this week - the posts with the most likes.

And here it is: the picture with the most likes 2022!

For the statistic friends among you: In 2022 I published about 350 posts here, which together collected almost 10,000 likes (goal for next year?) - that's about 26 likes per post. I am happy about every single Like - and thank you very much for it!

Und hier ist es: das Bild mit den meisten Likes 2022!

Eating (and stopping for a bite to eat) is part of a hike. And what could be better than a Kaiserschmarrn on the mountain? Rightly so, this picture of food got the most likes!

While hiking, we also pass towns and villages. Most of all you liked this picture of Erling - and I can understand it very well! From the monastery of Andechs you not only overlook the village, but also have a magnificent mountain panorama.

In the story today, six images share the bronze medal for third place.

Beim Wandern - oder auch so - kommen wir auch an Städten und Dörfern vorbei. Am meisten hat Euch dabei dieses Bild von Erling gefallen - und ich kann es sehr gut nachvollziehen! Vom Kloster Andechs aus überblickt man nicht nur das Dorf, sondern hat auch ein herrliches Bergpanorama.

In der Story teilen sich heute gleich sechs Bilder die Bronzemedaille für den dritten Platz.

When I started this account almost two years ago, I didn't think I'd be posting 500 posts within the first two years.... but as my grandpa always said: "First, it comes differently and secondly than you think". With that in mind, here's to the next 500 posts!

Als ich vor fast zwei Jahren mit diesem Account anfing, hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass ich innerhalb der ersten zwei Jahre 500 Posts veröffentlichen werde... aber wie mein Opa immer sagte: "Erstens kommt es anders und zweitens als man denkt". In dem Sinne: auf die nächsten 500 Posts!

Of course, animals also belong to nature - and thus inevitably in front of the camera. This year you liked the cows at the Veitsberg the most.

Christmas is traditionally the time to just sit at the dinner table. The time that the dishwasher still needs to bring out clean dishes again, I have used for a very personal review of the year and picked out the respective monthly highlight.

In today's second part, the months of July to December follow, which were mainly characterized by a few (short) trips - with the absolute highlight being my return to the South of France. I was also very pleased that both the Oktoberfest and the Christmas markets took place again after two years of absence due to the pandemic.

Weihnachten ist traditionell die Zeit, an der man einfach am Esstisch sitzen bleiben kann. Die Zeit, die die Spülmaschine noch braucht, um wieder sauberes Geschirr hervor zu bringen, habe ich für einen ganz persönlichen Jahresrückblick genutzt und das jeweilige Monatshighlight herausgesucht.

Im heutigen zweiten Teil folgen die Monate Juli bis Dezember, die vor allem von ein paar (Kurz-)Reisen geprägt waren - mit dem absoluten Highlight meiner Rückkehr nach Südfrankreich. Auch dass nach zwei Jahren pandemiebedingten Ausfalls sowohl das Oktoberfest als auch die Weihnachtsmärkte wieder stattfanden, hat mich sehr gefreut.

Today I start with the first part - the months January to June. My absolute top highlight was the move in May - even if that meant that some of the hiking and running came much too short. But now I live in an absolute dream apartment in a top location.

Los geht es heute mit dem ersten Teil - den Monaten Januar bis Juni. Mein absolutes Top-Highlight ist dabei der Umzug im Mai gewesen - auch wenn dadurch das Wandern und Laufen teilweise viel zu kurz gekommen ist. Dafür wohne ich jetzt in einer absoluten Traumwohnung in Toplage
