tunnel.visions™ is a munich-based festival series and an independent record label that releases distinct music focused on experimental and cross-genre currents. tunnel.visions™ examines various aspects of pop-cultural ZEITGEIST and blends musical styles such as indie/alternative, modern jazz, electronic and classical music. After a three-year hiatus the festival series comes back in 2023 at the renowned BLITZ Club to celebrate exciting new sounds in a special audio-visual environment.

MONONOKE breaks with all musical complacency and expectations. Sometimes playfully harmless, sometimes brutally straightforward, the two jazz musicians don't mince their words and give free rein to their creativity in their songwriting.

Welcome new artist

_MONONOKE is a Berlin band founded by Fabian Rösch and Benjamin Geyer. Their
musical passion is improvisation with a sound that moves between experimental
electronic music, jazz, beat music and ambient. During the pandemic, Mononoke recorded two EP’s which will be released on the label tunnel.visions in 2025.

The first single "APARt" is out today and is the titeltrack of their upcoming EP to be released on March 28. Also available in Dolby Atmos. Link in description.

Welcome our newest label artist: monojo. 🥀

Actually he’s not really new to the tunnel. visions universe, rather the opposite: Together with , he helped developing their unique sound during the mixing process, played a solo set on one of the tunnel.visions clubnights, and contributed a remix on one of their RVSTD (remix) albums.

monojo has worked on a special project together with unique illustrator which is about to release very soon. The first single „mental.state #1 [so he is sick]“ is coming out this Friday!💫

second single „slick dancer“ will be out tomorrow. For that release we have a very very special surprise so stay in touch! 🔜💎💃

About slick dancer:  -When I made „slick dancer“ I was listening to a lot of „floating points“ and „monuman“. Those two artists inspired me to make a beat with lots of electronic clicks and clacks and have the song be about small changes in its sounddesign. It took me a while to get all the click sounds and hi-hats the way I wanted! As for the chords I felt like a piano would not really work together with this beat. Luckily, I was experimenting with building synth sounds out of small voice samples I recorded at the time. One of my favorite things about „slick dancer“ is, how those voice like synth sounds creep through the beat here and there.“

Hi, „hi“ the first single of dani.scheffels upcoming tunnel.visions debut is out now. (Link in bio) ☁️
 We are super happy to have as amazing and visionary producer and drummer on board, but also as incredible human being! 💛

Some words by Dani to his first upbringing: The first track „hi“ is also the first one I created for the album. Originally it was planned to be a more beat-focused one. But when I finished recording the chords for „hi“, I really liked the sound of the piano blending with the voices and sounds in the background. I wanted to give that a lot of space.
Ultimately „hi“ turned out to be a lot more piano focused than I planned. That gave me inspiration for a lot of the other tracks on the album and motivated me to experiment more with sounddesign.
