Im Jahr 1952 hatte der ARD-Musikwettbewerb seine Premiere in München, wo ihn bis heute der Bayerische Rundfunk ausrichtet. Er gilt als der größte Wettbewerb für klassische Musik weltweit, da er jährlich in mehreren Fächern stattfindet und insgesamt 20 Wettbewerbskategorien umfasst. Für viele Künstler war München das Sprungbrett zur internationalen Karriere. The ARD International Music Competition

🎺✨With stunning performances Robin Paillet swept the jury and audience off their feet, earning the First Prize, Audience Prize, and Special Prize for the best interpretation of the commissioned piece. 🌟🎶

Born in the French Alps, Robin began playing the trumpet at age five. Fun fact: Before every performance, he listens to the final movement of Mahler's Symphony No. 2 to get into the zone. 🎧🎶

On September 19 at 8 PM, he will perform Bernd Alois Zimmermann's "Nobody Knows de Trouble I See" with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, conducted by Sasha Scolnik-Brower — live in Munich or via livestream! 📍📺

Liya Cecilia Wang performance was a masterclass in elegance, emotion, and technical brilliance that left the jury and audience in awe. The outstanding pianist claimed 1st Prize and Audience Prize at the Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD competition 2025! 🏆

Born in Siping, China, Liya began playing the piano at age four and currently studies at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Beyond music, she is deeply passionate about history and preserving it.

Tonight on September 19 at 8 PM, she will perform Camille Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 22 with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks , conducted by Sasha Scolnik-Brower — live in Munich or via livestream! 📍📺

Der Klang welches Instruments ist euer Lieblingsklang?

Vom 1. bis 19. September 2025 findet in München der renommierte ARD-Musikwettbewerb statt – eines der weltweit wichtigsten Foren für junge Musiker und Musikerinnen (Internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD).

Die ersten Preisträger stehen bereits fest: Der Klarinettist Hongyi Jiang aus China wurde mit dem 2. Platz ausgezeichnet.

Hongyi, geboren 2003 in Wenzhou, hat sich bereits international einen Namen gemacht: mit ersten Preisen bei Wettbewerben in Asien und Europa sowie einer Ausbildung an führenden Konservatorien in Peking und Paris.

Der seit 1952 jährlich stattfindende ARD-Musikwettbewerb fördert die Preisträger, unter anderem mit gemeinsamen Auftritten mit den Münchner Orchestern, und gilt als Karrieresprungbrett für viele Weltstars der klassischen Musik ( Klassik).
