The second host from Munich got Soul:
Sven Bonecke

Sven originally comes from the far north. He had his first contact with rare soul while playing truant in the mid-80s. In the 90s, he went to many dance events and scooter rallies with the Northern Soul Family.
At the turn of the millennium, he finally moved south to Munich with his wife and two children.
To this day, you can still see him at European all-nighters and weekender events, but also at scooter rallies.
After he started collecting records in 2012, he was able to play at events in his adopted home of Munich, such as Substanz, Magic Potion, Atomic Café and the Soulfood Allnighter. Since then, other venues such as Hamburg, Lübeck, Nuremberg and Bamberg have followed.

Sven stammt ursprünglich aus dem hohen Norden. Seine erste Berührung mit Rare-Soul hatte er beim Schulschwänzen Mitte der 80er Jahre. In den 90er Jahren zog er mit der Northern Soul Family durch Nordeuropa und auf viele Rollertreffen.
Zum Jahrtausendwechsel zog es ihn schließlich zusammen mit Frau und zwei Kindern in den Süden nach München.
Bis heute sieht man ihn immer wieder auf europäischen Allnightern und Weekendern aber auch auf Rollertreffen.
Nachdem er 2012 mit dem Plattensammeln begonnen hatte, durfte er in seiner Wahlheimat München z.B. bei Veranstaltungen im Substanz, beim Magic Potion, im Atomic Café oder beim Soulfood Allnighter auflegen. Seitdem kamen weitere Stationen wie Hamburg, Lübeck, Nürnberg oder Bamberg hinzu.

Leo... loves Soul (R&B, 6T's, Northern, and some 7T's & Modern Soul) as well as scene related sounds like Beat, Garage Punk, Ska and Powerpop. He has enjoyed traveling through the mod and soul scene since 1989. For Leo, music - especially soulful music - goes from the ears via the heart straight to the feet - he is a passionate dancer - and more of a DJ than a collector.
As a DJ he started with a little regular Mod & Soul club night through various local Bavarian and Austrian events and Allnighters to the Deeper Shade night at the Atomic Café in Munich as one of the resident DJs, as well as at the Target Club, the Soulfood Allnighter, the Magic Potion Night, the Black Cat Soul Club, Munich got Soul Allnighters, the Shoot Your Cuffs Mod Allnighters and the Going all the Way 6T's Weekender. Guest appearances at Beat the Clock in Cologne, Summer Safari/Soulsurgery in Leipzig, Hamburg Soul Weekender, Two Men from L.i.n.z., S.O.S in Vienna, O-Wow in Linz, Ballroom Bash Cologne, Beat Explosion Berlin, Absolute Beginners Rimini, Wake up Club and some more.
It's an honor for him to play some of his favorite records for a soulful crowd like this and to party and dance with you all night long!

And here we are with the second DJ guest of this year's Munich got Soul Allnighter 15.03.2025!
Christian Salz (Munich):

I got in touch with Northern Soul in the early 80s through the Kent- and Inferno-Samplers and from that time on considered Soul as the best dance music ever. Being part of the Munich Soul scene and visiting Soul Weekenders in Europe for many years, you’ll find me rather on the dancefloor than behind the decks. But I had the pleasure to spin some records on the warm-up session of the Soulshaker Weekender in Bamberg (my birthplace, by the way) and on the Soultime Lübeck Allnighter. Equipped with a soft spot for other musical genres like Jazz, Surf and Country, expect from me some crossover, danceable midtempo stuff and some oldies and I hope I’m not emptying the dancefloor.

Mitte der 80er Jahre: Mit ein paar Gleichgesinnten veranstalte ich eine Soul-Party im Vereinsheim der Alt-Rollerfreunde München. Aufgelegt wird mit Kent- und Inferno-Samplern, aber auch mit Singles, erstanden bei einem Münchner Plattenladenbesitzer, der Zugang zum Fundus eines amerikanischen Radio-DJs hat und mir wird klar – das ist die beste Tanzmusik, die es gibt!
Fast 40 Jahre später: Ich liebe Soul noch immer (aber nicht nur - auch Jazz, Surf und Country). Die 20 Soul Singles aus den 80ern haben sich deutlich vermehrt. Und so kommt es, dass ich beim Munich Got Soul Allnighter nicht durchgehend auf der Tanzfläche sein kann, weil ich nämlich auflegen darf. Und vielleicht ist ja auch eine der Singles aus den 80ern dabei.
