Why 4est Films? When I was in grade school, my cousin Forrest, and I, would make movies after school everyday.

The first VHS tape we made we called "The Forrest Show"... from there we were very original in naming the following VHS tapes: "The Forrest Show 2", "The Forrest Show 3" and "The Forrest Show 3 1/2". He is still into cameras- check out his website at forrestwasko.com to see some incredible pictures. Looking back, I realize that it's because of him, and this show that I am so into creating stories.

.. so it only makes sense that I give some reverence to the show that brought me inspiration.

4est Films' only objective is to spread love, and inspire.

Over 4000 submissions and Jeromy Darling won the ONLY acting award at the Munich Film Awards 🤯 🤩

🎭After months of isolation - we finally came together to premiere our award-winning film. In our celebration, we raised nearly $15,000 for Emily's Hope and TallgrassRecovery to aid those facing addiction that are unable to afford treatment, and to eradicate the stigma behind the disease.

🌹We at 4est Films give massive thanks to the Sioux Falls State Theatre for providing a safe & stunning space - to Angela Kennecke for creating such a powerful foundation in her daughters name, and for hosting this two day event - to Ashley Thompson for showcasing us on your KELOLAND : Keloland Living show 💛

🏕Though the subject matter of our film is dense, you can see in these amazing photos by Jake Photography that there was no shortage of joy. Thank you for capturing this event so beautifully, Tyler. We can always count on you 🤩

🙏Our gratitude for all of those who attended is beyond measure. We plan to bring Strung back to Sioux Falls to show at other venues. Before we come back - we are thrilled to announce we will be bringing Strung to Chicago and Minneapolis - and if the cards continue to fall - possibly Phoenix, Boston & more.

🌹✨ The Red Carpet Theatrical Premiere of Strung was a massive success...

Thanks to the hundreds that came out to celebrate, over $13,000 was raised for Emily's Hope and TallgrassRecovery, and these stunning pictures by Jake Photography help to tell the tale.

A huge thanks to Angela Kennecke for hosting our first premiere event at the beautifully restored Sioux Falls State Theatre. All of this was made possible by our sponsors at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center, First PREMIER Bank, and J.H. & Sons.

✨Two TOP Nominations from Top Shorts - Winners announced this Wednesday! 💌

Academy award-winners have walked the steps we are now humbly taking. From the Big Apple to the Mini Apple - STRUNG is going STRONG.

Judges of the highly regarded Big Apple Film Festival have credits from Warner Bros, NBC Universal, and Netflix. Names like Shia LaBeouf, Jesse Eisenberg, and Alan Cu***ng have competed in previous years. Cross your fingers as we await any nominations and awards, and keep them crossed while we compete in the renowned MSP Film Society. We were just informed that we were selected into the Final 13 Short Fiction Films AND has been included in their Best of Fest screening. What an honor.

Outside of the Big and Little Apple we have Los Angeles eyes on us as we compete in the Believe Psychology Film Festivalunder their Resiliency & Hope Category. We should find out about nominations and awards very soon.

Outside of the US, Piif Festival is in love with STRUNG. Again - keep crossing those fingers as we patiently await nominations and awards for the leading International Festival in Prague.

Last month in Los Angeles we had the honor of being a finalist at the Flicks4Change festival - where our Wyatt was given a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Thank you F4C. As filmmakers, we always want our films to make a difference- make a change - and Flicks4Change can attest that this film has, and will continue to inspire change. 4est Films 4U. 4est Films 4Change.

Finally, and not surprisingly, back in the Big Apple - Wyatt snagged yet another Best New Actor award in NY last month. This time from New York Indie Shorts Awards. This kid is a star. This movie is magic. Your support is everything. Thank you for your love.
