We‘re so happy and excited to be back at this years Rundfunk.fm festival in Zürich with a string of Compost Records co-curated nights. We‘re starting out tomorrow, Wednesday 290726 with a artist we know and truly admire for a long time: Erobique. He’s backed up by Compost head honcho Michael Reinboth. And if that would not be enough there‘s our good friend and Compost artist from day zero Rainer Trüby helming the line-up today, Tuesday 280726. Make sure to drop by at Landesmuseum if you are in town - would be lovely to see you around.

Following Christian Prommer’s „Rhythmique Nocturne“ album release on July 10, 2026, the first remix comes from Bristol’s Crackazat. This rework settles into a late-night, jazz-inflected deep house weapon. Built on rolling grooves, dusty piano loops, and a warm, analog subs. The vocals drift through the track, adding atmosphere rather than taking center stage. There’s a hypnotic pull throughout, echoing moments from a New York jazz club dancefloor at its peak. A deeply effective club cut. A decade in the making, this re imagining of Roberta Flack’s 1969 classic „Tryin‘ Times“ turns a protest soul song into a modern jazz rave invocation. ⁠

Prommer loops, fragments and deconstructs elements of the original recording, amplifying its message as a deep, dark yet urgent call for unity in a fractured world. Perfect recreation of the original vocal style by Justine Hoerwarth. Additional piano from Berlin based Mosés Yoofee adds harmonic fire, while Prommer’s snare fills are played on the very first snare drum he ever touched as a child in Styria, inherited from his marching band uncle and carrying decades of history in every hit. The result is a swirling, hypnotic anthem where memory, politics and the dancefloor collide.⁠

This album distills ten years of Berlin into a twilight drift between order and abandon. Daytime studio sketches are pulled apart at night, reshaped by shifting perspectives that swing between jazz harmony, textural experimentation, and the heavy gravity of techno basslines and analog drums. Intimately close-mic’d piano, drums, percussion, cello, and strings are constantly recontextualized—dropped into new rooms, resonances, and imagined spaces—so their meaning keeps mutating. Room noise, human breath, and accidental sounds are folded into the pulse, turning spill and imperfection into rhythm. Even a piano lid thudding shut on “Dark Matter” is claimed as part of the beat, underscoring an album that embraces freedom, spontaneity, and the beautiful lack of accountability that defines this city at night.

We are extremely happy to present this absolute balearic classic by Quintus Project, remixed by Llewellyn

The Psychemagik remix has enjoyed cult status ever since its release in 2011, and now Llewellyn - also known as Lake People - takes it to new heights. Built largely from elements of the original track and the remixes released alongside, the new version reshapes the source material with additional drums and subtle production touches that give the track its distinctly Llewellyn character. Stay tuned for the vinyl release later on this year, featuring one more stunning Llewellyn remix of a new Marsmobil song. Watch out!
