- Sieg 🏆 beim 24h Klassiker in der Arena 33
Nach dem 24h Sieg auf dem Nürburgring 2023 mit dem Ferrari, zieht das RC Car Team von Frikadelli Racing gleich.
Der Pott 🏆 bleibt in der Eifel!
Das Wetter prognostizierte ein heißes Rennwochenende und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sonne und 33 Grad sorgte für ein spannendes 24h Rennen. Schon am Samstag morgen, nach dem Veranstalter TONISPORT und Uwe Rheinard das Material ausgegeben hatte, ging die heiße Bauphase los. Wir hatten bei der Verlosung der Startnummern die #13 und die #18 gezogen, waren somit im hinteren Starterfeld zu finden. Das sich die #13 als Glückzahl herausstellte, sollte sich später zeigen.
Unsere beiden Teams kannten den Yokomo RS 2.0 bereits und konnte sich auf Setup und Stops konzentrieren.
Der Start erfolge nach der Technischen Abnahme um 14:04 Uhr. Von P13 und P18 gingen Marco Kaufmann RC und Kevin Krey ins Rennen und arbeiteten sich langsam durch das Feld. In seinem Stint von 30 min brachte Marco unsere #13 an dem Team der Keil DTM vorbei auf P1. Es sollte sich zeigen, dass die Führung nicht mehr abgegeben werden sollte. Kevin brachte unsere #18 nach 40 Min. auf P8.
Für unsere #18 gab es zwei Reparaturphasen bis zu den Morgenstunden, welche das Team in wirklich beeindruckender Zusammenarbeit und Schnelligkeit erledigte. Zwischenzeitlich lag unser Auto in Schlagdistanz zu P3. Wichtig war es durch die Nacht zu kommen.
Im letzten Drittel des Rennen konnten die #13 nochmal den Abstand zum Team aus Andernach vergrößern. Für die #18 ging es um Platz 4 und dieser sollte verteidigt werden.
Die letzten zwei Runden ist das Team gemeinsam gefahren um zusammen nach 24h das Ziel zu überqueren. Was ein phantastisches Team, was für ein Rennen.
Schnellste Rennrunde wurde von Dominic Greiner für unsere #13 mit 24.930 gefahren. Michael Friebel fuhr für die #18 eine 25.227!
Unsere zurückgelegte Renndistanz #13 3174 Runden , #18 3095 Runden.
Ein großes Dankeschön geht an die Fahrer, das großartige Team neben der Strecke, Emily, Vivi, Ralf.ihr seit unglaublich.

- Victory 🏆 at the 24h classic in the Arena 33
After the 24-hour victory at the Nürburgring 2023 with the Ferrari, the RC Car Team of Frikadelli Racing equalises.
The pot 🏆 stays in the Eifel!
The weather predicted a hot race weekend and we were not disappointed. Sun and 33 degrees ensured an exciting 24h race. Already on Saturday morning, after the organiser TONISPORT and Uwe Rheinard had issued the material, the hot construction phase started. We had drawn the #13 and #18 in the draw of the starting numbers, so we could be found in the back starting field. The fact that #13 turned out to be a lucky number would become apparent later.
Both of our teams already knew the Yokomo RS 2.0 and were able to focus on setup and stops.
The start took place after the technical acceptance at 2:04 p.m. From P13 and P18, Marco Kaufmann RC and Kevin Krey entered the race and slowly worked their way through the field. In his stint of 30 min, Marco brought our #13 past the team of the Keil DTM on P1. It should be shown that the leadership should no longer be given up. Kevin brought our #18 to P8 after 40 min.
For our #18 there were two repair phases until the morning hours, which the team completed in really impressive cooperation and speed. In the meantime, our car was at striking distance to P3. It was important to get through the night.
In the last third of the race, the #13 were able to further increase the distance to the team from Andernach. For the #18 it was about 4th place and this was to be defended.
The last two rounds the team drove together to cross the finish line together after 24 hours. What a fantastic team, what a race.
The fastest race lap was driven by Dominic Greiner for our #13 with 24,930. Michael Friebel drove a 25,227 for the #18!
Our race distance travelled #13 3174 laps, #18 3095 laps.
