NUSIDM "Last Temptation Of Thrill" LP - € 18,00
Really spelled NUSIDM, not nudism, and it's the project of Australian musician Glen Schenau, a.o. in bands like PSY ANTS, BENT and CURED PINK. The 10 impressive tracks on this LP are like de-constructing the sounds of bands like A CERTAIN RATIO, CABARET VOLTAIRE and THROBBING GRISTLE, and then re-constructing it in his own post-Industrial, abstract, dissonant and tribal way.

TERRINE "Standing Abs" LP - € 18,00
TERRINE alias Claire Gapenne is a Noise musician from Amiens/France, also member of the Noise-Rock band HEADWAR. Her music here is like a soundtrip thru' another world (or is it this world?). It's Techno, but made (mostly) with organic instruments, including piano, oboe, and distorted samples. So let's call it "Experimental Tech/NO". In a similar revolutionary vein as DJ/RUPTURE. Limited edition of 300 copies.

What I don't get is the relatively low response to this in comparisomn and contrast to the SWEEING PROMISES?!?
A twopiece from Chicago, Jessee Rose Crane and Philip Lesicko, previously known as THE FUNS (with records on Manic Static, Sister Polygon, etc.). This new album features 11 songs. Intimate and stripped-down, with hypnotic Pop-sensibilities. Surely comparable to the SWEEPING PROMISES, but more melancholic and romantic. Like a soft version of the YOUNG MARBLE GIANTS meeting with JESUS AND MARY CHAIN...

SCHWINDEL "Liebe Not" - MÖRTEL SOUNDS - LP 18,00 / CD 8,00
Bei dem Namen könnt man meinen, es handelt sich um eine weitere Band aus dem PHANTOM RECORDS Umfeld, aber es sind zu 2/3 ex-Mitglieder der Noise-Rock Band GROW GROW aus Berlin. Die Band bezeichnet ihre Musik selbst als "Indiepunk". Aber könnt man auch als Noise-Punk-Rock mit einem "Hamburger Punk" Einfluss (BLUMEN AM A***H, DACKELBLUT, etc.) beschreiben. Hätte also vielleicht doch auch auf PHANTOM gepasst... LP auf schwarzem 140g-Vinyl, inklusive Textblatt und Download-Code.

Awesome threepiece punk band from Leipzig/Germany, supposedly with members of TELESATAN, MELLIE, MOSQUITO EGO... Cassette contains 12 weirdo Garage-Punk hits, with a super cool and crazy sound, not unlike LASSIE or DOC FLIPPERS. Exceptionally great, and best thing from the PHANTOM & Co. Camp these days!!!
