New project, new challenge !
Departure mid-May, tracking and forecast route: https://dot.vision/antoinegirard2025 (The starting point will depend on the weather on day 1 (+-200 km from Los Angeles))
This time I'm tackling the US and Canada by paragliding bivouac flight.
Departure near Los Angeles to reach the central Rockies in Canada. Between 2,500 and 3,000 km.
Solo and autonomous travel.
The first challenge will be crossing the Nevada desert and then reaching the Canadian border to climb the Rockies.
The project is expected to last between 1.5 and 3 months depending on the weather.
If you're in the area where I'm traveling, feel free to come share a bit of the trip with me, a hike to reach a takeoff point, a bivouac, a meal, a flight or simply a chat.

Ce coup-ci je m’attaque au US et Canada en vol bivouac parapente.
Départ proche de Los Angeles pour rallier les Rocheuses centrales au Canada. Entre 2500 et 3000km.
Voyage en solo et en autonomie.
La première difficulté va être de traverser le désert du Névada pour remonter ensuite jusqu’à la frontière Canadienne pour y remonter les Rocheuses.
Le projet devrait durer entre 1,5 et 3 mois en fonction de la météo.
Si vous êtes dans la région de mon passage, n’hésitez pas à venir partager un bout de chemin avec moi, une rando pour rejoindre un décollage, un bivouac, un vol, un repas ou simplement discuter.

"The Verso RS marks the German manufacturer Swing's latest entry into the lightweight light wing segment. The weight reduction has not been maxed, which means that the wing is also durable and long-lasting. Particularly pleasing is the combination of the fun factor with the agile and pleasantly precise thermal flying characteristics, without limits by overstraining the pilot.
