With incredible prizes up for grabs — from Filipino goodies to major gift items — the real showstopper was the Grand Prize: Two Round-Trip Flight Tickets to the Philippines via China Airlines!

The spirit of bayanihan was alive and in full harmony at the Philippine Ube Fiesta 2025 in Stuttgart, where a remarkable lineup of volunteer performers gave their time and talent to celebrate the richness of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

Each performance was not only a musical tribute, but a heartfelt offering of love for Filipino culture.

Together, these performers turned the Ube Fiesta into more than just a celebration — they transformed it into a vibrant expression of Filipino identity. Through every note and lyric, they reminded us of the unbreakable connection between music, memory, and home.

Purple pride at the Philippine Ube Fiesta 2025 in Stuttgart! 💜

Poet & Songwriter Claire Paladin moved the crowd with her heartfelt ube-inspired performance, while visual artist Cathy Nuñez amazed with a live speed painting and fun face painting for kids.

Together, Claire and Cathy brought more than art to the Philippine Ube Fiesta in Germany — they brought heart. Their performances not only highlighted Filipino talent but also deepened the cultural experience for all attendees. It was a true celebration of purple pride, powered by poetry, music, and paint.

The Philippine Cultural Organization in Saarland wowed the crowd with their graceful performances of Bulaklakan, Salakot, and Pandanggo sa Ilaw,

while the Philippinisch-Deutscher Verein energized the crowd with the iconic Tinikling dance.

Every rhythm, every movement, a tribute to our heritage. reminding us that every dance step carries the heart of our heritage.

Dear Consul Fatima,

First of all congratulations to your well deserved promotion. Thank you so much for everything. You were the first to believe in me, and because of you I became part of the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt family. Since February 2022, you’ve constantly pushed and inspired me to grow, not just in work, but in life.

I will always treasure the memories, especially the four Ube Fiestas we shared across Germany:
2022 in St. Augustine, North Rhine-Westphalia
2023 in Oberasbach, Bavaria
2024 in Wiesbaden, Hesse
2025 in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg

Thank you for all the advice. I will keep them in my heart and mind always.

An Open Letter for my Papa Pol

Hi Papa, i miss you.. out of nowhere, bigla ko na lang kinanta yung "if I ain't got you" yan ang isa sa mga favorite song na pinapakanta mo sakin sa twing meron mga videoke at reunion sa Gutierrez clan. Naalala ko nung nauna ako umalis papuntang Singapore at meron event noon si mama sa Pinas, umiiyak ka raw dahil may isang babae na kumakanta din nung kanta na yun, namiss mo raw ako.

Sa twing meron tayo lakad at sama sama tayo pamilya sa sasakyan, pinapatay mo Ang radyo dahil mas gusto mo pang marinig kami mag magkakapatid na nagkakantahan, Ang unang nag li-like sa mag YouTube video covers namin. Wala pa man e ikaw ang President NG aming FANS Club.

Naaalala ko na sa twing bago ako umakyat ng stage pag mag special number ako sa simbahan, hinahawakan mo muna ang malalamig kong kamay at sinasabing wag ako kabahan dahil kayang kaya ko naman .. hanapin lang kita sa audience andoon ka nanonood, nakangiti at pumapalakpak.

Ganun din sa mga anak ko.. Kahit na nung Mahina ka na, nakita ko sa mga Mata mo Ang saya nung napanood mong first time na kumanta si Patricia sa harap ng maraming tao. Super proud ka at napaluha para sayong panganay na apo lalo nat na-witness mo Ang araw na iyon.

Gaya nga ng lagi mong sinasabi.. FAMILY FIRST. Mabuti ang magkaroon ng maraming kaibigan pero sa huli pamilya pa rin ang tatakbuhan mo at ang laging andyan para sayo. No matter what. Kahit na may mga hindi pagkakaunawaan, may mga tampuhan. Ang unang dapat na umintindi at magmahal sakanila ay ikaw na mismong kapamilya at ganun din sila sayo. FAMILY over Everything.

Today, as we celebrate your 77th Birthday.. Salamat papa dahil hanggang ngayon ginagabayan mo pa rin ako sa lahat ng mga desisyon ko sa araw araw.. sabi mo nga, "in everything, give thanks!" naayon man ito sa plano ko o hindi. sa pagturo saakin na ipaubaya sakanya Ang lahat ng bagay, na meron sya mas magandang plano para sakin at maghintay lang dahil darating ito hindi man sa ngayon ngunit sa tamang panahon.

Papa, thank you..

Maraming Salamat for all the memories, all the advices.. for setting a good example. A Family Man. A Man of God.. I pray na sana I can continue and pass your legacy especially to my children lalo na ngayon madadagpan pa ang apo mo.

Salamat papa , you will never be forgotten.

Exactly 10 days after Philippine Ube Fiesta 2025 in Stuttgart…

It’s time to finally announce that I’m 30 weeks pregnant! 💜

Where there’s a will, there’s a way. I’ve been quietly carrying this blessing since December, not to hide it out of fear, but to stay focused and show that this pregnancy is not a limitation, but a gift.

It hasn’t stopped me from doing what I love, celebrating and preserving Filipino culture here in Germany. Instead, it’s a reminder that I can be both, a passionate event organizer and a loving wife and mom. 💪🏽

This year, we’re taking a short break from Paskong Pinasaya sa Alemanya, which we proudly started last year at Faber Castell Schlosspark in Stein. But next year, it will return stronger, as the start of an annual Philippine Christmas Market Festival in Germany! 🎄🇵🇭

And of course…
Philippine Ube Fiesta in Germany 2026 is also on the way!

Most of all, we’re excited to welcome a new love in our lives this coming September 2025, a true blessing from God. 🤰🏻👶🏻
