God, I love him!!! This beast rocks with 50 watts of Class A/B power, driven by 2x 6L6 tubes and 5x 12AX7 preamp tubes. It’s got 2 channels with 5 killer modes—Channel 1 switches between Clean or Pushed, while Channel 2 gives you Raw, Vintage High Gain, or Modern High Gain. Plus, a spring reverb that’s pure heaven, a bias select switch (6L6/EL34) for that maintenance-free vibe, and a parallel effects loop to keep things wild. All packed into a hand-built 1x12” combo from the USA—pure Mesa magic!

The API 2500+

It’s one of my favorite , a Swiss knife. Equally for and purposes.
It could be super transparent or super colorful and grabby. Depending on the many options you have, like feedforward or feedback Sidechain, has an impact how the compressor reacts to the audio it’s fed with.
Not a simple comp, it takes some time to acclimate with it. It’s like learning a new instrument.
