To comply with our global corporate sustainability goals, WTO has introduced a energy management system. Our energy management system is now certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018.

Our employees also contribute to achieving our sustainability and energy goals through their conscious actions.

Sustainability means a lot to WTO. As an example, the smart factory, which was completed in 2022, is above all a ‘green factory’. It sets milestones in state-of-the-art production technology and climate protection. Heat recovery and groundwater cooling will save over 3,8 GWh of energy per year, which corresponds to a carbon dioxide reduction of 445 tons.

WTO: High productive manufacturing of Gears at EMO Hannover

At EMO, the high productive manufacturing of gears with WTO Gear Hobbing units will be presented on several CNC turning centers.

The WTO Gear Hobbing unit is characterized by high stiffness and runout accuracy. The unit can be used flexibly with milling cutters of different sizes thanks to interchangeable milling arbors.

Official opening of the new US headquarters😊

On September 10, partners and customers gathered for the official opening of the new WTO building in Charlotte, USA. Visitors were greeted by inviting offices, the service center, and the showroom featuring a 2025 Ford Mustang NASCAR.
But the most important thing was the opportunity to exchange ideas with our partners and customers.

In addition to touring the US headquarters, 30 successful years in the US market were celebrated. Sascha Tschiggfrei, CEO and owner, started for today's success in 1995 with the founding of WTO Inc.

Grand Opening of the new US headquarters and celebration of 30 successful years in the USA 🎉

On September 09, invited guests, project participants, and partners gathered to inaugurate the new building, designed by the renowned architectural firm Grossmann Group and realized by Merriman Schmitt Architects and InterCon Building Company. The new headquarters symbolizes 30 successful years in the North American market. The American subsidiary WTO Inc. was founded in 1995 by Sascha Tschiggfrei, second-generation owner of the company. His mission continues to be to supply German precision tools combined with first-class, customer-oriented service. 🔧

The new 22,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility features modern offices, a fully equipped factory operated service center, extensive warehouse space, and a modern showroom for providing product training.

“Our new headquarters reflects our continued growth and dedication to serving customers in North America with fast response times, quality, and professional after-sales support our customers expect from a global market leader,” said Sascha Tschiggfrei, CEO and President of WTO.

Roush Yates Engines entered the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. The championship begun Sunday, August 31st and the checkered flag waved at Darlington Raceway finishing in P10.
