I got myself two fine little presents at my favourite drumshop out there .de 🥁
A beautiful signature snare drum and a 22" Crashride. Already played them both on stage - 2 outstanding instruments!! 🤩
Thanks for a fantastic year to all my students, bands, colleagues and friends! Enjoy your holidays and see you in 2024! ❤️

My 10th anniversary with the Groovekiste. 💙
After I had some days to let the impressing, beautiful, emotional, musical as well as friendly impressions of my big summer party work, I can now proudly post a few pictures of my party this year.
It was an eventful afternoon, where especially the students of the Groovekiste gave a great concert together with the Groovekiste Allstars
Besides this musical highlight, it was also possible to prove your speed at the Speed Drum Contest or to have your snare professionally re-skinned with a selection of Remo drumheads at the booth of the from St. Leon-Rot.
With a little luck, you could win the main prize in the big raffle, a snare, donated by Drumladen, as well as other great prizes around the topic of drums.
I could hardly believe my eyes that despite the somewhat modest weather, my premises were bursting at the seams and several 100 visitors attended my anniversary party throughout the afternoon.
These were also well catered for by the delicious food from the Dogan Grillhaus & Pizzeria - Osthofen food truck and of course the frozen yogurt and coffee specialties from Eis Nonno.
Such a great party would of course not be possible without the endless list of all the helpers who make it possible in the first place to celebrate so exuberantly.
And so I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family, my friends, my colleagues and all their families. You know who you are, I love you all. ❤️

Last weekend I had the great pleasure to be a guest at the Meinl Drumfestival 2023.
Besides countless of my colleagues, I got to meet many of my favorite drummers live on stage and later in person.
Their performances left nothing to be desired and so I was able to head home highly motivated and entertained after a long and exciting day full of drumming.
Among other things, it was great to meet again, 4 years after the Teacher Camp in his studio. 🙌🏻
Thanks again to and for the invitation and the warm hospitality of the whole Meinl Family. 💙🙏🏻
I felt more than comfortable and am already looking forward to the next festival! 🤩
But now it's full focus on the 10th anniversary of the Groovekiste next Saturday! 💯💪🏻

Exactly one week from today we celebrate the tenth anniversary of my drum school Groovekiste. A crazy journey to get here and I'm still enjoying every single day.
