Edition Geli (named after the editioner’s wife) had been established about 16 years ago by Ralf Pisch in association with SBK Songs and later became integrant part of EMI Songs. artists, composers, lyricists and other producers) of all musical segments. Before his non-wage-earning-activity he could gain experience in different departments of the business (e.g. sale, marketing, promotion and a & r) at WEA Music / Metronome / EMI and CBS. This and his human relations from those days, of course, helped a lot when it came to selling songs and acts to the industry. The edition’s biggest success so far was the massive German hit of the year 1991 (reaching gold status -over 250000 Records with BMG / RCA ) of the very famous German actor and comedy star “Diether Krebs“.
