When size matters, precision counts 💪
Deep South Crane and Rigging took on a major alkylation revamp in the southern U.S. – and delivered flawlessly. From the Port of New Orleans to the client site, massive process components made the journey:
✅ A 680,000 lb acid settler
✅ Two acid coolers at 125,000 lb each
For the heavy haul, Deep South relied on TII SCHEUERLE SPMTs:

👉 18 axle lines in a 4-file combination for the settler
👉 12 axle lines for the coolers
👉 A “Split” SPMT-SL and a wide 6-line SPMT for tight overhead clearances

Heavy equipment on the move from Cuxhaven to Wilhelmshaven: Our customer Heinrich Staas GmbH is transporting an ABI TM 26, a telescopic leader rig for piling and drilling operations (approx. 88.5 tonnes), using a SCHEUERLE EuroCompact U7, perfectly equipped with Smart Axles for maximum payload capacity.

The highly flexible configuration can also be operated as a 3+6 or 3+5 combination – ideal when a shorter overall length and reduced tare weight are required. Thanks to the folding and turning outriggers, the trailer offers a completely flat loading platform, while the stepless fifth-wheel load adjustment ensures optimal traction and maximum utilisation of the permissible axle loads.

The Blade Hornet takes flight 🐝
Last week, ENERCON mastered the first transports with its new SCHEUERLE BladeLifter G4 – a milestone for everyone involved.

What sounds simple on paper was in reality a true test of precision and teamwork. The task: moving 68-metre rotor blades through narrow village streets, across railway crossings and along steep, winding roads on the way to the Olsbrücken wind farm in Germany.

The SCHEUERLE BladeLifter made it possible. With its ability to hydraulically lift and tilt rotor blades by up to 60 degrees, the innovative transport solution ensured that every curve, crossing and incline was safely navigated – without compromising efficiency or safety.

Behind the success stood a highly dedicated team. Led by Björn Feddermann, the operator crew – Stefan Grote, Kevin Hellbach, Malte Tjarks, Klaus Richter and Andre Engel – worked hand in hand to deliver a flawless performance during this premiere operation.

And as if to mark this special debut, ENERCON gave its BladeLifter a distinctive identity of its own: THE BLADE HORNET – a symbol of power, precision and team spirit.

🌟 World’s largest floating wind foundation moved with SCHEUERLE SPMT 🌟
With the help of 244 axle lines and 13 PPUs of SCHEUERLE SPMT, Vastwin precisely positioned and safely rolled out onto the transport barge. The structure measures 80.82 meters in length, 91 meters in width, weighs 7,500 tons and will have a single-unit capacity of 16 megawatts. Once operational, it will generate around 44.65 million kWh of electricity annually. The excellent reliability and performance of SCHEUERLE SPMT played a decisive role in this challenging offshore wind project.
