🚛🌄 Transformer on the Move – From Italy to Germany

With the breathtaking scenery of Northern Italy as a backdrop, our customer TSB Transport Service Beitinger successfully transported a 78-ton transformer from Italy to Augsburg, Germany. The total transport weight: an impressive 131 tons.

For this project, TSB once again relied on the SCHEUERLE EuroCompact, whose flexibility, compact design, and high payload capacity make it the perfect solution for demanding international heavy haulage.

⚡TRANSFORMER THURSDAY ⚡
Another behind-the-scenes look at the transport of transformers, which form the backbone of our modern energy infrastructure. Our customer TSB recently completed the transport of a 73-ton transformer from Italy to Inverness, Scotland, with a total transport weight of 127 tons. A task like this requires reliable equipment and precise planning – and the SCHEUERLE EuroCompact proved to be the ideal choice.

Its compact design, high payload capacity and flexible configuration make the EuroCompact especially well-suited for international heavy haulage. Whether navigating narrow roads or managing long distances, it offers the versatility needed to adapt to diverse transport challenges across Europe.

Moving a 1,926-ton, 245-foot NOAA NAV Vessel isn’t just about raw power. It’s about precision, timing, and total control.

With 60 axle lines SCHEUERLE SPMT, Berard - The Mega Transport Experts executed the complex transfer from the fabrication site onto the drydock in Houma, LA. Vessel transports like this require exact load distribution, careful steering coordination, and pinpoint alignment, especially when positioning the hull on the narrow drydock blocks.

SCHEUERLE SPMTs delivered the stability and accuracy needed for this high-stakes operation. Hats off to Berard for another job well done! 👏

🚨 Milestone in heavy transport!
The newly developed STB 320 side girder deck from TII SCHEUERLE has successfully proven itself in the field: On July 9, Kübler Spedition transported a 285-tonne transformer for TransnetBW from station to the Weier substation – over a 10 km route featuring restricted access, sensitive bridge structures, and tight inner-city curves. With 320 tonnes payload capacity and axle loads under 12 tonnes, it enables transformer logistics even in infrastructure-limited areas.

💬 "The STB 320 is perfectly tailored to the needs of modern transformer transport. It gives us the flexibility and performance we need – even under the toughest conditions," says the team of Kübler Spedition.
