News aus dem Studio von Dawn of Amber
Spring greetings from Dawn of Amber!
2021 brought some new and exciting changes to the band. Last summer, we welcomed Ryan Strain (US) as our new singer, and we spent September through November with him in Mick's studio writing and recording vocals for our upcoming debut album. As we share this, Ryan is back in Munich until the end of April, putting the finishing touches on the vocals and finalizing our plans.
Unfortunately, we also have to announce the departure of our drummer, Thomen Stauch, due to his commitment to his other bands, and especially to his family. We respect his decision, and Thomen remains a friend of the band. We look forward to supporting each other's musical endeavours going forward.
However, with this departure brought the opportunity for more new and exciting changes. We are proud to welcome JUNO Award winner Oli Beaudoin (CA) our session drummer and producer for this album. Oli is best known for his work with Kataklysm, but has also worked with many other notable bands such as Ex Deo, Neuraxis, Belphagor, and Keep of Kalessin.
Here is a message from Oli:
"I’m thrilled to take on duties as producer, mixer, and session drummer for Dawn Of Amber’s upcoming debut album. The band has some killer material that will blow your head off, drawing from Euro and US metal traditions while merging classic and modern elements to create an explosive cocktail. The album in the works goes full spectrum, from dark and heavy, to epic and melodic, with catchy vocal lines all along the way that will stick in your head for days! I’m happy to contribute to a project that packs so much talent and experience in one tight unit. This record will keep you on your toes until the very last moment!”
