Green Producing

Die Climate Media Factory fördert ein nachhaltiges Produzieren von Filmen. Während Filme Menschen für den Klimawandel sensibilisieren, verursachen Filmproduktionen nämlich CO2-Emmissionen und tragen so selbst zum Klimawandel bei. International sind verschiedene Projekte und Initiativen entstanden, die auf eine klimafreundlichere Filmherstellung abzielen. Nicht nur weil viele Filmp

roduzenten bis dato große Klimasünder sind, sondern auch weil gerade sie zu „Pionieren des Wandels“ werden können – die auf andere Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftsbereiche wirken. Wir liefern Informationen für Filmschaffende und stoßen ein Green Producing in der deutschen Medienlandschaft an, z. The Green Film Initiative informs how films can be made in a more sustainable way and encourages a Green Production in the German film and TV industry. We bring together experts and people from the film industry who see the need to reduce the carbon footprint of their productions or have already started to go green.

The Berlin Film Festival 2019 had several events discussing practicals, legislation and incentives for film productions to go green, supported by film funds, film commissions, politicians from all over europe and USA, ministry of ecology Germany and Austria sharing their roadmap.
