๐บ๐ฆ Fellow Tetyana Chubenko investigated the growing body of evidence surrounding torture facilities set up by Russian forces in Ukraineโs occupied regions.
Her in-depth piece details how these โkativniโ, some located in basements of police stations or administrative buildings, were used for arbitrary detention, interrogation, and torture of civilians and prisoners of war. Testimonies and satellite data are helping human rights defenders piece together a disturbing map of these sites.
