Hey you, punk!⛓️ Today is the day! It’s digital release day! First full-format release “Obrigada” by the insane chain punk fury NÃO — outta nowhere and everywhere (Brazil, Colombia, Germany), based between Bremen and Hamburg — is streaming now!💥

After two years in the shadows, it’s finally time to unleash your demon dance moves and shake this burning, sh*tty planet to its rotten core. For lovers of raw hardcore punk and relentless d-beat — and for those who can never get enough (you know who you are) — think: DISCHARGE, ICONOCLAST, INOCENTES, KURO. Ferocious drums locked in with an energetic, driving bass, wild guitar riffs, and dystopian peace-anarcho punk lyrics screamed in Portuguese. Formed by members of Inferno Personale, Vitamin X, Innenstadtfront, ex-Zanjeer, and more.

Cassettes are already here and will be out around mid-August 2025.

This is what the collective is writing about themselves:
Papercore started in 2019, as a project between friends across Spain & France. Th wanted to publish a collective, contributions-open zine. The idea just popped out during a conversation just before a show, so we didn’t know that it would go somewhere. In a way, this is a place where we share texts and illustrations sent by people from all around the world, related to (but not only) the DIY punk universe. Everyone can write for and distribute it! Make Papercore yours too!

As you probably noticed THE ENGLISH which is used in this zine is very far from its gramatical and stylistic ideals. It is mostly because this is ENGLISH in which most of our contributors, big part of our readers and most of us (as editors) are communicating. So obviously we choose to use ENGLISH which is understandable for ourselves.

Yesterday, I stopped by Kylmä Krypta’s practice room on a fairly well-known ship and handed them their CDs and cassettes — so I guess it’s time for the official release!⚡️⛓️🕷️

Today is the day! It’s physical release day on Brainwasher Records! The self-titled debut EP by Kylmä Krypta is now available on CD and cassette! 💥

BWASH #024 - KYLMÄ KRYPTA - Kylmä Krypta - CD / Cassette

KYLMÄ KRYPTA is a new young band from Hamburg, and this is their self-titled debut release. The band performs 80s-style post-punk with lyrics in Finnish, drawing many influences from bands of that era, such as Belaboris, Musta Paraati, Kuudes Tunti and Xmal Deutschland. You can also feel a strong love for Siouxsie and the Banshees in their sound. Put their record on, close your eyes, and find yourself wandering through the cold crypt.
