Active since 2019, ERROR DE PARALAJE keep refining their sound with “Imagen Latente”, their third release after a single and a self-titled cassette. What you’ll find here is melodic, carefully crafted post-punk, where every tone feels deliberate - dreamy but never soft, shimmering with new wave tension. It’s music for drifting through your city at dusk, for staring out of train windows, trying to find this latent image,for that suspended moment when everything feels both beautiful and distant. You’re more than welcome to dance as well - this one’s for you too.

Helsinki’s HIGHWAY GHOST crawl out of the fog with Nightmares, a debut LP that sounds like heartbreak recorded in a haunted basement. It’s gloomy, dreamlike, and rough around the edges - the kind of record that makes you want to wander through empty streets or frozen woods. They ride the line between garage punk snarl and post-punk melancholy, like Dead Moon getting lost in a Wipers b-side while the tape slowly warps. There’s grit, there’s reverb, and there’s that unmistakable Finnish flow in every chord. Perfect soundtrack for when love turns rotten and the nights start stretching longer.

Hey you, punk! I wanted to show you a bit of the solidarity work you did by grabbing some caps and t-shirts from Brainwasher Records this summer. It wasn’t a lot, but for a micro-label, it’s actually quite a lot, I must say. We managed to send 162 EUR (split into two payments) to Solidarity Collectives for Humanitarian Help for Ukraine and to Gaza Soup Kitchen. In the next two pictures you can find more info about these initiatives. Merch is still available, so feel free to grab your piece if you haven’t yet.

This is what the collective is writing about themselves:
Papercore started in 2019, as a project between friends across Spain & France. Th wanted to publish a collective, contributions-open zine. The idea just popped out during a conversation just before a show, so we didn’t know that it would go somewhere. In a way, this is a place where we share texts and illustrations sent by people from all around the world, related to (but not only) the DIY punk universe. Everyone can write for and distribute it! Make Papercore yours too!

As you probably noticed THE ENGLISH which is used in this zine is very far from its gramatical and stylistic ideals. It is mostly because this is ENGLISH in which most of our contributors, big part of our readers and most of us (as editors) are communicating. So obviously we choose to use ENGLISH which is understandable for ourselves.
