Heute vor 3 Wochen erreichte uns die Nachricht, dass ein lieber Freund, Wegbegleiter und ‚Creative Mind‘ den Weg über den Regenbogen genommen hat. 🌈💫

Der Schock über diese Nachricht musste verarbeitet werden und wir möchten nun mit euch Abschied nehmen von einem Künstler und treibender Kraft der Psy-Szene 🌺 Scödy’s Reise war geprägt von Leidenschaft, einer unermüdlichen Neugier, selten geradlinig, aber immer ehrlich zu sich selbst.

Seine Arbeiten – Mandalas, Stringart, Objekte und Backdrops – spiegeln eine Handwerkskunst wider, die aus Geduld, Übung und dem Mut zum Neuen entstanden ist. Von Kiel über Nordklänge bis zu den A-24-Parties und vielen mushroom magazine 🍄Veranstaltungen prägte er Orte, Erlebnisse und ästhetische Welten, die noch lange nachhallen. ✨ 🪐 Scödy war mehr als ein Künstler: Er war Freund, Mentor, für viele eine Quelle spontaner Inspiration. Sein Engagement, seine Leidenschaft und sein offenes Herz werden fehlen, seine Kunst wird weiterleben – im Klangkontakt, Bildern, Erinnerungen die er hinterlässt. 🎶❤️

Wir wünschen dir eine gute Reise lieber Scödy 🌟🌟🌈 du hast sicher eine Tasche voller Farben und Fäden dabei und kannst nun alle unsere Freunde dort oben die ein oder andere Veranstaltung in den Wolken verschönern 💙🩵

Zum diesjährigen Global Earthdance Global am 20.09.25 möchten wir daran erinnern, dass Hamburg dieser jährliche Prayer for Peace immer sehr am Herzen liegt. Insbesondere Freunde Der Sonne FDS Psytrance aus Hamburg 🌞✨ haben wunderbare Feste organisiert und werden auch in diesem Jahr ein Strassenfest und eine Club Nacht veranstalten. Wir möchten euch das Hamburger Kollektiv vorstellen:

Dear Dr. Goa...
I have no idea what the difference between “Live” and “DJ” is. Can you explain the difference, please?
Some of my friends roll their eyes and shake their heads whenever I say things like “this guy is DJing live right now.” Could you please explain the difference?

Dr.Goa:
It’s actually a fascinating question, because the answer has changed quite a lot over the years.
Back in the day, a live act was considered to be “doing more” than a DJ. These days, it’s almost the opposite:
A live act often just presses one button—the space bar on a laptop—which kicks off a so-called “live set”: a pre-arranged sequence of mostly their own tracks.
A DJ, on the other hand, now presses far more buttons (and at least some of them actually do something). The key ones are the track selection button and the sync button.
And here’s the funny part: DJs and live acts still have one thing very much in common—both like to pretend they’re doing far, far more than they really are.
