We will be showcasing works by 4FSB x Goswell Road, Seth Fountain, Timothy Schaumburg, Tea Stražičić and Justin Swinburne (exhibition will be on view till 28 April due to ).

The music will be served by EuroEyez – the low-fi kpop wunderkind – and her brother and producer bfoty, formerly known as boyfriendoftheyear. They will play exclusive dj sets for you this evening. Also you should not miss the exquisite poetry performance by Samilaaa.808.

The scenery is designed in coop with Daryan Knoblauch and there will be flower bouquets by Melisa Tuerkal.

AXEL vs CLEPTO
Ashus in Cleptomanicx shot by the real Tim Bruening —

This is Axel aka Ashus in their not so classic interpretation of the Cleptomanicx “Ligull” basics. For this exquisite streetwear feature we asked the q***r and fashion-savvy musician and s*x worker to create their own outfits from a selection of casual garments with the notorious seagull logo stitched on it. Info: Back in 1991 Pitt Feil started Cleptomanicx as one of the first streetwear and skateboarding culture inspired fashion labels in Germany. It is the last remaining from that era. Later with the young and talented Stefan Marx as their inhouse graphic designer slash creative director. Many still remember the living lemon and toast motifs printed on their streetwear items.

However, the core logo since the beginning of the Hamburg St. Pauli based brand is the seagull. Yet the seagull got them into trouble when Abercrombie & Fitch took Cleptomanicx to court in 2009 as they were entering the European market (for their sub brand Hollister also uses the seagull). The case was luckily dismissed for German court but keeps it unauthorized to sell Cleptomanicx pieces with a seagull labeling in other European countries.
