It finds its roots in the revolutionary youth movement of the late 1960's, in the sound of 1967's "Summer of Love" and in the era-defining festival of Woodstock in 1969. At World in Sound, the virtuosity of a single musician is but a small part of the musical works. Rather, it embraces a multi-faceted rhythmical symbiosis of the band as a whole, as it pursues its highest purpose: to leave a deep m

usical fingerprint in an original way. The essence of that sound should be: dramatic, vivid, creative, epic, melodic, courageous, passionate, at times experimental, but always individual and intense. A freedom of movement refers exclusively to the fact that the listener shall experience a World In Sound album on an exciting journey, seeking a repeat experience immediately. Apart from the pure recorded music, the tasteful staging of the final sound for World In Sound plays a key role. Thereby the main attention lies in forming the band's individual sound in an unfiltered, organic, and dynamic way, yet still fresh, punchy and intense, in order to expose the individual magic of every album. HISTORY

World in Sound has reissued vinyl and CDs since 1999, in the form of valuable, rare and obscure cult records. It has discovered numerous never published jewels from the period of 1966 - 1978. All productions take place in close collaboration with the artists and apart from the music also present historical background information about each band. Through the years World In Sound has become an institution in the worldwide psychedelic collector's scene. Since 2006 World In Sound has sought to establish young, ambitious bands with the above mentioned qualities to an international audience. By fusing generations of musicians, World In Sound has built a bridge back to this highly creative and rebellious time, the early 1970s, a time where music was seen as a demanding art form of expression, when the musicians ran the music business, and not the producers.

FUZZ SAGRADO is the new Psychedelic Rock project from the creative head of Samsara Blues Experiment, Christian Peters (guitar, vocals etc.). After the end of the world-famous Heavy Psych band, Peters emigrated to Brazil and founded Fuzz Sagrado in 2021. Two albums were released, “A New Dimension” (2022) and “Luz e Sombra” (2023), as well as several digital releases. With this new “Strange Daze”-LP, World In Sound will be releasing Peters' early work with this new project, namely the self-titled EP from July 2021 and “Vida Pura” that started it all. Both have been faithfully remastered by John McBain (Monster Magnet, Desert Sessions) for this limited vinyl release. With each track, Peters blends different genres and weaves a tapestry of sound that is both fresh and familiar. This vinyl release of the early recordings combines influences from late 1960s Psychedelia to 90s Desert Rock. These tracks showcase the raw energy and creativity that has evolved into their sound, giving fans an insight into Peters' musical journey. World In Sound´s first release from Turkey delivers pure and timeless oriental heavy psychedelic Prog Rock from Istanbul. Besides the usual instruments, they also use a Cello to create a truly unique and deep atmosphere, where the mystical vibe of "One Thousand and One Nights" meets Pink Floyd and King Crimson. Nine long epics reflect a wide and unpredictable, well-balanced spectrum of arrangements, rhythms, melodies, and climax. With no doubt these lads continue the great 1970s Turkish psychedelic rock tradition of Erkin Koray, Mogollar or Baris Manco. Watch out for this mindblowing space prog trip!
