Today, November 8th, marks a solemn day of remembrance for the brave Gunjur migrants who embarked on a perilous journey from the coast of Gunjur, The Gambia, to Spain, in search of a better life, but whose whereabouts remain unknown.

As we stand on the shores of Gunjur, our hearts ache for the families who have been left behind, waiting, hoping, and praying for news of their loved ones. The pain of uncertainty is a heavy burden to bear, and our thoughts are with them today and always.

To the missing migrants, we remember your courage, your dreams, and your determination. Though we may not know your fate, you are not forgotten. Your memory lives on in our hearts, and we will continue to advocate for your story to be told.

May your journey, though uncertain, be a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. May your legacy inspire change, and may your memory be a blessing to those who remain.

Rest in peace, dear ones. Your Gunjur family will never forget.
