When we started the NFTYskateboards project in April 2021 with „The First“ NFT #001 skateboard and was released so far, it's all worked out well and we're lucky to be able to release with 18 great artists, to have 23 collaborations with companies, musicians, friends, music bands from all over the world and some of our freelance works. A total of 117 skateboards have been published so far, „status: november 2022“ and 1 book, possibly the first NFT book we know so far, was released in August 2022. 15 Years Made For Skate!

The Illustrated History of Skateboard Footwear shines a light on previously untold chapters of skate shoe history.

Highlights include the true history of legendary skate footwear brand Airwalk, the secrets of the longest-running professional skateboard shoe franchise - the Vans Caballero Pro series - and the genesis of the world's best-selling skateboard shoe, the Nike SB Janoski.

For the 15th anniversary we more than glad to gift this NFT to the founder and good old friend

Juergen Bluemlein!
Jürgen was born in 1973, and, as founder and curator of Skateboard Museum, organizes skateboard exhibitions and has been creating a unique archive of skateboard history for audiences worldwide. Jürgen's work draws inspiration from a variety of sources, such as street culture, skateboarding, art, film and fashion. His early passions include design and collecting Swatch watches in the 80s. He attended the Film-Academy Ludwigsburg and worked in the film industry. As a founding member of the artist collective, FauxAmi, Jürgen has been curating art exhibitions for the first ever skateboard museum in Europe, which include the exhibit Made for Skate: The Illustrated History of Skateboard Footwear, showcasing the world's largest collection of skateboard footwear, with the accompanying book published in 2009. He began skateboarding in 1987 and has been on a board ever since.

We publish the first NFT - Book we know so far. We believe that the physical & digital are simply inseparable & that the haptic is simply ingrained in our human DNA. This should serve as a bridge from digital to physical & reflect our work what we do.

nfty-skateboards was launched in April 2021 by Oli Kentner - www.olika.de & Paul Sergio Mure-San as a tribute to the great art & subculture that emerged around skateboarding in the last 50 years. There are 113 wonderful boards on 236 pages.
