Kenako Africa Festival 2026 Brings the Spirit of Africa to Berlin 🌍🔥
Berlin is once again preparing to host one of Europe’s most vibrant celebrations of African culture as the Kenako Africa Festival 2026 returns from 4 June to 14 June 2026 at Washingtonplatz. Known for bringing together people from different cultures through music, food, art, and dialogue, the festival continues to grow as a major platform celebrating the richness and diversity of the African continent.
Every year, the Kenako Festival transforms the heart of Berlin into a colorful African marketplace filled with handmade fashion, traditional artwork, beauty products, jewelry, and authentic African cuisine from different regions across the continent. Visitors can explore unique cultural experiences while enjoying the warm atmosphere that has made the festival one of the most anticipated African events in Germany.
The festival also offers a powerful live stage program featuring music, dance, theater performances, and cultural showcases representing both traditional and modern African expression. From Afrobeats and Amapiano to Afro-fusion and traditional rhythms, the event reflects the growing global influence of African music and creativity.
Beyond entertainment, Kenako Africa Festival promotes cultural understanding and global learning through workshops, discussions, film screenings, readings, and educational programs. It creates a space where communities can connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate diversity together.
At Radio RFM, we continue supporting platforms that empower African culture, unite diaspora communities, and amplify African voices internationally.
