D-Day🎊

All conspire that very day. The weather was perfect and the beautiful guests were happy to witness it. I believe his family and friends were happy to see him finally tying the knot. I vaguely remember his heart-broken stories. I could only watch him how happy he was when I said 'Ich will'(I want to). His honesty and a man of words are his best traits. He never fails me, yet.

To my 20-ish self,

Bwoaah!!
Years later, you are where you meant to be. It was a lot of work, actually. After college, you immediately search for work, because you thought, starting early will achieve your goals. You chose to work in the government because you believe your pension is secured, work 5-days a week, and a not-so-busy job(twas a joke). Then, you started your 9-year plan; buy a ground; open a start-up business; build a house; be married to a good man, and live happily ever after, smart moves, right?

But HEY! You ended your work early, bought an empty land, failed your business, got heart-broken, healed, left the country and eventually got engaged. And apparently, you are starting all over again. You didn't expect that to happen right? tsk, I only could wonder, how your life is turning now.

You literally have come so far, hahaha, and you should know that whatever you have prayed fervently, it came true. You once asked from your last heartbreak, that if he is not the one, He will keep you away from him, to bring you to the person you asked for, gentle, kind, loving, funny, respects you, has plans for both of you. Remember? you wanted to finish your degree so you can take the licensure exam, by all means, He provided you the good school even if it was impossible just to fulfill that. All that and more, not only for you but to your family as well. So i want you to know that you are loved, so do not be afraid, He is always near, He will keep you safe. Just call unto him and He will listen and answer you in any way possible.

More things await for you self! You got this💪🏻

I should have done better!😒😖

Before saying YES 💍 to a total stranger:

1. Take time to get to know him better, months or years, that includes his background, family, childhood, values, most importantly his character.

2. If you think you need protection, because you're not the alpha type, be with the person who loves you more, a love that is gentle and kind, but please give the love and respect that the other person deserves.

3. You can never be ready for the sudden change, but be with the person who makes plans with you.

4. Be aware that having a lifetime partner means both must know each other's whereabouts. If that makes you crazy then forget about marriage.

5. You must know if the person believes that marriage is about helping each other, so when one is tired from the whole day's work, the other should offer a relaxing bath or massage to the person and vice versa.

6. If the person would allow you to do the things you are interested in for the benefit of both, then it's a Yes for me.

7. Lastly, make sure you have pretty and clean nails before he puts the ring on it. To save you from shame.

And please never ask him back 'Are you sure?', when he kneeled steadily in front of you and asked you that 3-magic word?, I know for sure, I should have done better,😅. It was nerve-wracking for him. If you know deep down that you're super sure and that you are just super stunned, just say YES, gurl.
