Davido, the Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has pulled out of his joint London concert with US stars 50 Cent and Mary J Blige. Davido said his withdrawal from the July 3 event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was due to the failure of the curators to resolve issues “concerning key elements required to uphold the integrity and quality” of his performance. He also hinted at an issue of discrimination, demanding respect for African creatives.
