The Mixed Migration Review 2025 confirms a dangerous trend: the 'normalisation of the extreme' in migration policy. Geopolitical crises, aid cuts, and the return of hardline agendas are pushing global asylum systems to a critical turning point. But resistance from courts and grassroots movements shows this trajectory is not set in stone. Read the full analysis of the MMR 2025, published by the Robert Bosch Stiftung in the B'spoque magazine.

The MMR 2025 warns geopolitical turmoil is driving migration to the edge, as harsh anti-migration measures like pushbacks and offshore processing go mainstream.

This November at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA, curator-in-residence Malika Mukhamejan opens a powerful lens onto women in Central Asian cinema.
From early Soviet works like Без страха (Without Fear) and Джамиля (Dzhamilya) to the launch of She Exists Elsewhere, the program reveals how cinema has shaped, framed, and sometimes confined women’s lives, desires, and rebellions.
Join the SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA for screenings, talks, invited guests, discussions, a lecture, and even a food intervention—all rethinking how women have been seen, unseen, and reimagined on screen.
We also welcome influential thinkers Emilia Roig & Mohamed Amjahid for a SİNEMAplural+ in conversation special, plus a preview of Mahdi Fleifel’s To a Land Unknown with Angeliki Papoulia, and much more throughout the month.
Discover the full program at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA and be part of a cinematic space of memory, resistance, and radical care.

Women in Central Asian cinema emerge from the margins—intimate, unruly, and irreducible—as films reveal both transformation and its contradictions.

A requiem turned revelation.
Ukrainian designer DZHUS channels trauma into radical form, unveiling “ABSOLUTE” at Jaga Hupało Space of Creation — a visceral fusion of memory, fear, and transformation.
Premiered at Berlin Fashion Week, now surrounded by visionary objects from Zieta Studio, Anna Drozd Tutaj and Organic Lighting.
A haunting exploration of survival, embodiment, and the unstoppable force of creation.

Irina Dzhus transforms grief into avant-garde, turning survival into creation. “ABSOLUTE” reveals her raw journey from trauma to radical artistic rebirth.
