Dear professors and colleagues,

With great joy I'm contacting you to inform you that the applications for the international Munich Piano Competition for 2024 are open!

For the fourth year in a row, Munich opens its doors to piano students and professionals from all over the world. Previously we've hosted contestants from Germany, Poland, Austria, Malta, Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Belgium, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Serbia, Hungary, North Macedonia, Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Israel, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Argentina and United States of America. This year, we are trying to reach even further corners of the world.

Competition will occur in Munich, at the famous Nymphenburg Castle on May 27th-31st 2024. As in previous years, winners will not only receive media attention and numerous performance opportunities as a prize, but also scholarships for further training and sheet music packages in manufacturers' editions. As an award for the Piano Summer itself, we can hereby also present to you that we are now members of the Alink-Argerich Foundation who will support the competition next to our other partner G.Henle Verlag.

In addition to the Munich Piano Competition in Munich,we also want to inform you of our Summer Academy which is taking place every year in august in the beautiful barocian city, Lecce, in southern in Italien.
