🔹 The difference between “dir” and “dich”:

• “dir” = dative case →
used for the indirect object (the person receiving something)

• “dich” = accusative case →
used for the direct object (the thing being acted upon directly)

= “I brought you poison.”

• “Gift” (poison) is what was brought → direct object → accusative

• “dir” (to you) is who received it → indirect object → dative

BMI (Body Mass Index) is a number that shows whether a person has a healthy body

weight for their height. It is calculated by dividing a person’s weight in kilograms by

the square of their height in meters (kg/m²).

BMI Categories:

• Underweight: BMI less than 18.5

• Normal weight: BMI 18.5–24.9

• Overweight: BMI 25–29.9

• Obese: BMI 30 or higher

Example sentence:

The doctor used my height and weight to calculate my BMI.

📌 Example:

• Weight: 70 kg
• Height: 1.75 meters

👉 BMI = 70 / (1.75 × 1.75) = 22.86
