ALL ARTS - Voices Rising: What’s Next for Asian Americans in the Arts? - link in my bio!

Drums - Mikiya Ito

When I first got an offer, I thought of if I’m the right fit for this. I’m not American. And even if I get a green card I don’t consider myself to say I’m Asian American. I don’t experience the same thing as Asian people who were born and raised here does.
This is my 8th year in the US. I had so many experiences that I would never had if I stayed in Japan. I have home there and home here. I performed this opportunity as an Asian artist who are willing to stay here to pursue my dream and live my life in that dream
