We’re happy to share a new addition to our podcast series with you.

For the next episode of the IO Podcast series, we’re happy to welcome our friend .wicked .
Also back from munich, where he’s know as a part of .co he’s now based in Cologne.

As a DJ and producer, he’s been making appearances across different dancefloors with a sound rooted in deep grooves, subtle breaks and warm textures. His sets feel playful and immersive and there’s a strong sense of atmosphere in the way he plays. Things unfold slowly and small moments become the focus.

Happy release day! 🥳🥳🥳

Today we’re very happy to finally share something we’ve been working on for a while. This marks the second edition of our Glome Series, a Various Artists format bringing together members of the IO family on one shared release.

It also feels very special to have this release on vinyl, since it marks the second vinyl release on our label. We are very excited to finally hold this one in our hands and share it with you for a spin.

Glome 2 brings together four distinct voices of some of our residents, each contributing their own perspective to the record:

Dear Friends,
Today we have a brand new episode of our podcast series, in which we welcome our dear friend .

Born in Serbia and currently based in Graz, she has been an active part of the music scene for years. She is contributing both through her DJ sets and her ongoing involvement in the scene like promotional or curational work.

Her sets are driven by intuition and a strong sense of flow. Moving across dub, dubstep, breaks, UK bass, house, and techno, she creates eclectic journeys that shift naturally between moods and tempos while always staying cohesive.

For this mix, she explores a very chill direction, resulting in a warm and fluid sound that invites you to drift and move at the same time.

With the arrival of the ‘Glome’ vinyl release, Munich-based IO Records comes to Neue Welle on the 18th of April. Known for bridging the gap between various electronic sounds, the collective brings their signature blend of catchy and forward-thinking sound design to Leipzig.

As an audiovisual label and artist collective, IO has carved out a unique space in the scene, defined by a manifold output that is as much about the eyes as it is about the ears.

But more than a release party, this is an exploration of the IO universe in its entirety: showcasing the sweet spot where experimental curiosity meets rhythmic precision, bringing that balance to the club, moving through the label’s signature blend of ambient textures and deconstructed club music.

In this episode of our podcast series, we welcome Cynthia Matisse. Hailing from Weimar, she is deeply rooted in electronic music subculture, collecting vinyl across all genres and switching effortlessly between techno, house, DnB, bass and dubstep.

When asked about her inspiration and the thought process behind the mix, she answered:

„This mix explores a progressive take on deep drum and bass with techno influences, creating a hypnotic and atmospheric style. The sound reflects my diverse approach to DJing, sitting at the intersection of Techno, DnB, Progressive, and Psytrance — where trippy textures meet hypnotic, tribal, and immersive rhythms. Strongly focused on storytelling, the mix unfolds with a dark and mystical, sometimes dramatic character. It aims to create a strong sense of depth while also embracing my weakness for melancholy.“

Our 69th podcast episode has landed, and we’re really happy to share it with you. This time we’re presenting a live set by Natasha Moreno ( ), an artist whose music draws you into an intimate, emotional and deeply immersive space.

Within this episode we share a live performance by Natasha Moreno, a sound artist based in Vienna. Within her work she bridges science, mysticism and emotion through modular synthesis. Her sound weaves together form and color into a fragile yet coherent universe. It’s inspired by microtonality, crystalline symmetry and processes of self formation and self destruction.

In this live set, Natasha creates melancholic, textured soundscapes that invites for deep listening and introspection. More than a musical experience, it is an encounter with oneself, embracing both discomfort and beauty, vulnerability and strength. Through layers of repetition, resonance and subtle transformation, the performance unfolds as an intimate meditation on memory, connection and self awareness. It’s a listening experience that pulls you in gently, stays close, and leaves a quiet resonance that continues to unfold in your mind.
