After long-standing experiences as DJs and producers in the area of electronic music we had to find out that in spite of the existence of a variety of different underground labels „something is missing“. With the foundation of "Coldwax Recording" we want to offer another opportunity to present House and Deep House music as an accepted art form. With "Coldwax Recording" we would like to release not
only music, but tracks with depth. We want no mediocrity, but prove that music from the "underground" can be professionally produced. Hence, it is important to us that "Coldwax Recording" releases music that is honest and authentic, in other words, music that is "real”. House and Deep House can feature different forms and styles. Therefore the tracks on our label should be very much different referring to expression and sound. Therefore, we don’t want to limit the label according to style.

Wir sind ein House Music Label aus Weimar/ Thüringen, das sich auf die Veröffentlichung von House und Deep House spezialisiert hat. Nach langjährigen Erfahrungen als DJs und Produzenten im Bereich der elektronischen Musik mussten wir feststellen, dass trotz Bestehens einiger Undergroundlabel „irgendetwas fehlt“. Mit der Gründung von „Coldwax Recording“ wollen wir eine weitere Möglichkeit bieten, House und Deep House als akzeptierte Kunstform zu präsentieren. Mit „Coldwax Recording“ möchten wir nicht nur Musik veröffentlichen, sondern Tracks mit Tiefgang. Wir wollen keine Mittelmäßigkeit, sondern klarstellen, das auch im „Underground“ produzierte Musik professionell sein kann. Daher ist es uns wichtig, dass die bei „Coldwax Recording“ veröffentliche Musik ehrlich und authentisch, in anderen Worten: ”echt” ist. House und Deep House kann unterschiedliche Formen annehmen, daher sollen auf dem Label die Tracks stilistisch auf auch sehr verschieden klingen. Deshalb wollen wir das Label stilmäßig nicht limitieren.
