My Indalu Game Reserve adventure – last year and this year. 🦒🐘✨
Some places just stay with you… and Indalu is one of them. That’s exactly why we came back this year.
If you’d like to experience elephants up close in a respectful and caring environment, this is the place. Moketsi and Bakari are the two resident elephants, living peacefully in their natural surroundings. You can immediately see the love, care and respect that goes into this privately owned reserve.
Spread across 800 hectares of beautiful wilderness, you’ll also spot giraffes, zebras, buffalo, various antelope species and plenty of other wildlife.
We stayed in one of the cosy chalets right in the middle of the reserve and ended the day around a crackling fire under the most incredible African night sky. Those are the moments you can’t really capture in a photo – you simply have to experience them for yourself. ✨
The next morning we headed out on an amazing game drive and had a very special surprise along the way… but I’ll keep that one to myself. You’ll have to discover it when you visit. 😉
I’ve been lucky enough to visit twice already and I honestly can’t wait to go back. Indalu is one of those places that reminds you just how special Africa really is.
