Wer tagtäglich mit Musik zu tun hat, dem fällt es leicht, sich über Musikzitate zu definieren. Natürlich haben sich seit der Gründung von Cargo Records 1998 in Wuppertal Formate, Umgebung und Konsum von Rock und Pop in nicht unerheblichem Umfang verändert. Und natürlich tragen wir diesem Umstand Rechnung. Dennoch sind zwei Dinge immer gleich geblieben: die nicht mehr selbstverständliche Tatsache,

“The Times They Are A-Changin’”. It’s not a difficult task to look to lines from songs for self-definition when you are working with music on a daily basis. Obviously, music formats, settings and consumer behaviour have changed since Cargo Records Germany was founded in Wuppertal in 1998. We here at Cargo are aware of the opportunities and challenges such change brings. However, two things have never changed for us: the irrevocable fact that we love music and the slogan that has characterized our attitude and artwork almost from day one: We deliver the goods. Today we officially announce 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐊, the band’s brand-new album, set for release on November 2026. A new chapter now has a name, a date, and a lot to say.

_“Freek: a delirious journey through mental and oneiric cages, a dive into the mind of a character born a dreamer and long trapped in the role of a jester.”_

And this is just the beginning.

Before supporting Ice Nine Kills in the evening, the full (!) Tx2 band will be stopping by at Rough Trade Berlin tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. to say Hello and sign copies of their two available EPs. Rising out of the shadows of a small town known for music, Fort Collins; TX2 brings an unmatchable intensity in his music through the form of powerful raw lyrics and explosive performances. After struggling for so many years as an artist, TX2 used his pain as fuel and finally found his sound.

TX2 has since begun a movement known among his fans known as the “X Movement”, which is all about bringing awareness to mental health and creating a safe space for those in need to talk.
