Jens Jakob is a boundary-pushing producer from Aalborg, Denmark, known for his relentless creativity and deep connection to the underground. With hundreds of tracks to his name, he's carved out a distinct space across house, techno, trance, and now, channeling the raw spirit of '90s UK breakbeat through his own bold, futuristic lens.
Jens Jakob studied electronic music at the Royal Academy of Music, earning a bachelor in Aalborg and a Master of Music (Cand. musicae) in Aarhus, combining academic depth with underground sensibility. From the high-voltage energy of Tækno Jens to the mind-altering psychedelia of Toxic Scientist, his solo work explores a wide sonic spectrum. He's also one half of collaborative duos Nordic Echoes and Apollo 420, where deeper rhythmic exploration meets layered sound design. His solo side-projects Sequency, Slambert, and Hope in Dope further stretch the edges of genre, diving into experimental and bass-infused territories.
As the founder of Unique Sound Records, he's not just creating tracks, he's building a universe. Whether solo or in collaboration, Jens Jakob's music fuses underground spirit with fearless exploration. This release is no exception, rhythmic, raw, and deeply rooted in the dancefloor.
