Sådan rappede Kesi i 2012 på nummeret “Stadig Den Bedste”, da han sammen med resten af B.O.C. via YouTube annoncerede et regulært statskup mod urban musik i Danmark.

14 år senere giver 22-årige WESMO helt de samme statskup-vibes. I løbet af fire måneder og tre singler hans overtagelse af dansk grime nærmest som en forudgående konklusion.

Singlerne “Durag”, “Wesmo Time” og senest “Pull Up” — med Wilhooks minimalistiske, lavfrekvente produktioner, Wesmos fuldautomatiske levering og Sofia Scoppas træfsikre kameraføring — føles som indvarslingen af en ny æra for dansk rap efter UK-dogmer.

Wesmo debuterer nu med sin første udgivelse, EP’en 1 år. Det markerer han med release shows i Aalborg og andre større danske byer.

Der er kun 100 billetter i salg til denne aften, som bliver Wesmos debutkoncert i Aalborg. Skynd dig, hvis du vil være med fra starten på helt tæt hold.
