CHAPULINES!

This is one of my favorite insect recipes of all time.

It's easy to make and it's Incredibly delicious.

You'll need:
-spring onions
-frozen grasshoppers
-lime juice
-olive oil
-fresh chili
-garlic
-salt and pepper

Here's how to make it.

1. Boil the grasshoppers for a minute and remove legs and wings.

2. Put some oil on the pan and start stiring the spring onions

3. Add the grasshoppers, garlic and chili.

4. Roast everything for a few minutes

5. Add some lime juice, salt and pepper and serve however you like.

I added some lettuce avocados and tomatoes to make it more colorful 😋

A solution for world pollution? NOT REALLY.

Insects ALONE will not save the planet.

Although eating insects can be a great start...
The truth is, our actions have to be BIGGER than simply replacing red meat with bugs.

Luckily, we can point you in the right direction ​

Here are some things you can do to reduce your environmental footprint:

1. Buy Locally produced foods

2. Fly less and when you do, pay for carbon offset programs

3. Eat less red meat, and when you do, source it. Make sure to buy meat from regenerative farms.

4. Don't waste (food, plastic, paper etc.)

Her klemmer jeg lige et insekt ned til et stopfyldt “Klimaets første maj” på Økolariet i Vejle.

For skal insekt-spisning redde os fra klimaforandringerne? Jeg tror nej. Jeg tror ikke, at danskerne opgiver deres oksekød og store afgifter for at holde dem fra det, vil påvirke de laveste indtægter negativt, og så taber vi opbakningen til klimakampen.

Min pointe i dag var, at klimakampen skal være socialt retfærdig, og at det batter mest, når vi tager de store, politiske beslutninger om at omstille vores landbrug samt energi-og transportsektor - ikke ved at privatisere ansvaret for klimakampen!
